Should I switch telco?

Currently using yes power 35 plan, everything else is okay except the reception is hit or miss. Last time went to comic fiesta completely 0 reception inside, couldn't pay with qr at all.

Recommend me other telco with similar monthly cost/data. I don't travel a lot so don't need that much data, just need reliability.

VXE Mad R Gaming Mouse

This review compares a newly purchased VXE Mad R to my previous mouse, Logitech G Pro X Superlight.

TL;DR it's a really great mouse for the audience who cares about value, as it's overall better than the Superlight.
What you're missing is the longer warranty on more common brands, not much else.

Where in Lowyat do I send my laptop for repaste?

Greetings.

I have a MSI GL62M 7RDX with i7-7700HQ and GTX 1050 at hand, I repasted it with my friend last month but now the temps are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 again.
Where in lowyat do you guys recommend me for a repaste? I'm kinda lazy to repaste it by myself again since I don't wanna go out there and buy all the repasting stuff and open my laptop again.

I don't know what's the problem with this laptop's cooling system, XTU Stress Test result shows it thermal-throttled 10 SECONDS after I clicked the dank button and there's always a HUGE gap between the GPU and the CPU's temps, GPU only stays around 60-75 while the CPU goes up all the way to 90-95. Anyone has this kind of experience with MSI laptops? I'm not trying to be judgmental here, but this laptop has more problem than my older Lenovo one did. I sent it for repair 2 times already, it's keyboard seem to be made out of jelly or something. I thought RM4k laptop was supposed to be hassle-free.

Need Advice for a PC Build

So that I've planned for my gaming rig that I'm going to build probably next month, do you think this is a good build?
And by 'good' I'm asking if it's budget friendly, I have only around RM4k, stretchable to RM4.5k and that includes a monitor, keyboard and a pair of speakers. Not sure if I should buy the Windows 10 OS though since it'll cost more, but at the same time I don't want to use a pirated one either.

This is the price calculation for all of the stuff based on CZone price except for the case, which is from Idealtech because CZone doesn't have it in stock:

Mobo - MSI Z170A PC MATE (RM658)
Case - NZXT S340 ELITE Black Mid Tower (RM469) ~ From Idealtech
CPU - CORE I5 6500 (4C/4T) 3.2GHz (RM896)
GPU - MSI GTX1060 6G D5 T OC (RM1300)
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB (RM270)

PSU - Corsair VS550W (RM248)

TOTAL = RM4055 (GST incl.)

For the i5 locked processor, I'm very tight on budget that I can't afford for an unlocked one, unless there's something on the build to be cut?
For the motherboard, I know that mATX one goes for cheaper and more budget friendly, but I really want to use the NZXT S340 Elite case, which is a mid-ATX tower, and it'll be a waste of space if I use the mATX motherboard for it since I might be adding more stuff into it in the future. That could change though, that's only my opinion.
For the Z series mobo, I'm planning for future overclocking, yes.
For the 6GB GTX 1060, do you guys think I should go for the 3GB one and save up some money instead? People says it does a bit of a difference if you run games with higher texture quality, might need to reconsider.
All that left is the RAM, the PSU and monitor to reduce some price, if the above hardwares are good to go.
If those things are expensive, can you guys recommend me good and cheaper hardwares to build with?
and oh, for the Optical Drive and SSD, do I really need it?! I mean it's 2017! (not the SSD though...)

Unstable Streamyx Connection

I just graduated high-school, done with SPM, so I really have a lot of time to spend on games and stuff. Let me get straight to the point.

It's been 2 weeks, I just want to play my games with friends, but my interNEP is really limiting my option. I don't know what's happening to my current Streamyx 2Mbps connection, I have no problem with the speed at all, it's running fine until there's a huge ping loop between 5-10 seconds everytime I play counter-strike. I know this is vague, it could be the game itself, but no. I've tested on other different games such as Sanctum and Left 4 Dead 2, as well as local-server hosting with my friends, friends says that I teleport every 5 seconds so that's not very comforting. Here's the result after I did a ping test with cmd:

Now that I did some google searches, didn't really find anything good except complaining people. tried a proxy software, tried changing to google DNS, but those didn't solve anything. Still haven't tried a VPN, I don't know if it'll work since I don't wanna install strange softwares into my pc...
It's not a wifi signal problem, tried using ethernet cable and still the same thing.
I've also done some troubleshooting using the one on the TM Self Help, a few days ago it showed that there was a network breakdown in my area, and now it's updated to fix, but my lag issue still continue. (btw, my current area is Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang). I also have tried the Live Chat, but honestly it was pretty useless, the tech support didn't even reply me even after 45 minutes of waiting... (I think that was the worst support ever, even celcom one replied at least)

Most answers are probably going to be like "CALL TM" and stuff, and if that happens, well... I just want to know if someone experienced this kind of lag before me. I'm pretty sure it's not my router's fault since I even reset all the settings, and checked for any wire fault. I'm not a networking expert, so I don't really know much about this, but if there's some kind of diagnosis you want me to do, I'll reply as fast as I can.

Groove Music Sound Fade

I can't tell if this is a bug or I must've been messed up the settings somewhere else
Groove Music in Windows 10 fades away the sound whenever I minimize it
Weird thing is it doesn't occur everytime, happens occasionally (make sense that it's a bug)
it's totally uncomfortable when running and switching multiple apps as the volume is too slow to be heard of

I've been trying to play a game while keeping the song playing, but this bug ruined the whole plan

If this is somehow unfixable, can anyone recommend me a light and a good music player that's able to repeat ONE song?
Windows Media Players works fine but drops my csgo fps to 28. (definitely not good)
MPC-HC doesn't repeat songs other than playing other songs in the same folder (bleh)
Please let me know if anyone's facing the same problem

Windows 10 Update: Threshold 2

Just dropped by to share a good information ^^

The first big update to Windows 10, which should be arriving via Windows Update, fixes a lot of problems with Windows 10. I'm kind of regretting my upgrade at first too, because there's so many features that I don't need of as a student but less features that I need to customise or simplify things on my OS so that I won't mess things or take a long search just to find the settings. I think this update is good for those who still miss the features back in Windows 8 and Windows 7. So, I'll post this right away. Sharing as caring.. as they say ^^

Some of the new features in the update are:
✿ Colored title bars
✿ Track lost PC
✿ Context menus are better
✿ Cortana is better (I noticed that it run smoother too)

These are just a few of the bigger changes you’ll notice. Windows 10 Fall Update also features new icons, other visual tweaks, and under-the-hood improvements, including ones to memory management.

Unfortunately, users who have recently upgraded to Windows 10 – within the last 31 days – are currently unable to download and install the new update.
The Threshold 2 update is unavailable to new users so that they can roll back to their previous operating system, Microsoft has confirmed. I'm included in this late upgrader too.

Fortunately, I found a way to get it without having to wait more than 31 days to have the update installed.

Simply navigate to the Microsoft Windows 10 download page – and then hit the Upgrade button, even if you're already in Windows 10, it'll upgrade your OS to the latest build.
This downloads the Microsoft migration tool, which is preloaded with the latest version of Windows 10 and can upgrade your operating system for you.
Granted, it's a little arduous. But its the fastest way for users who have recently upgrade their operating system to get the latest Windows 10 performance tweaks and features.
