Cheek pads for helmets

Friends I need your opinion on the user of cheek pads in helmets? I am using wireless earplugs which don't go with the cheek pads, it becomes a disaster to remove without doing one of the earplugs. So how much do the cheek pads justify to stay in their place? Can I just remove them?

Dear Friends,

I am planning to sell my car as I am leaving Malaysia for good. It’s a Honda City 2005 model registered on 27th December 2005, so basically it spend just 3 days in 2005. As being an enthusiast in car care I have spent some money on handling and looks which I feel the new owner will appreciate. Everything else is stock. The list is as follows:

1. Ultra racing bars: All bars except fender bars, this has basically improved the handling beyond compare
2. Now with good handling I was being thrown outside the seat at every corner. To overcome this I added in SSCUS seats
3. Just to avoid having stock rims with racing seats I added Lenzo 17 inch rims
4. Spent 8k on the ICE setup consists of Helix A4 Competition 4-channel Amplifier and Morel DOTECH OVATION 6" x 1 pair. Head-unit and woofer were added along with the setup later on. Currently some issues as wiring is affected. New owner can verify all items and repair if needed.
5. Tinted with Llumar tint

Car has basically ran 137K kms and from Malaysian standards it is quite low as I was an expat and rarely went balik kampung. Also this is not a modified mileage unlike many cars that you find with 70-80K kms.
