Rust Issue

Hi bros,

I have a Wira 1996 and the roof is starting to have cancer(rust) already. Plus rust is also eating away the boot (spare tire) compartment.

I think its a common problem with Wiras (or so thats what I heard)

For roof rust, I heard can change new roof. But idk the pricing but I'm more concerned about the boot rusting issue since its part of the chassis.

What can I do?

Btw, if you guys have any workshop recommendations, my location is Penang Island / KL / Melaka but preferable Penang

Thanks alot! Cheers

Wira Lancer Dashboard

Hi guys, I recently purchased a Wira hence my very first experience with this car and the last owner had installed a full on Evo 3 / Lancer dashboard AFAIK. The dashboard condition isn't very appealing (halfcut stuff la.. digital aircon doesn't work tho.. )

So a few questions I have poppin' in my head..

1) If I were to convert it back to the original Wira dashboard, how much work is it gonna take? (wiring.. etc..etc..)

2) Does anyone possibly sell just the aircon vents for this dash?

3) I'm looking to purchase a new centre gear console from accesory shop, does it fit to my current evo 3 dash? Gear console link below.

4) Can I retain my lancer cluster? (dat 10k RPM tho!!)

5) BTW, what is really the diff and similarities of these 2 dashs? They both fit in the Wira, and I think thats just about it.. right?

Thanks guys!

Proton stock grey color code

Hi guys, I would like to ask if anyone of you know the stock colour code for the proton satria grey colour. I'm going to repaint my car pretty soon.

Hoever here's a catch, there's this colour that looks very similar to the satria grey but its darker.

This is the colour I want. Guys, do you think its a stock colour?? Or is it a stock colour but made slightly darker?

Thanks!!

EG civic vs AE101 corolla

Hi guys, huge thanks for stopping by!

I'm new into the modding world and am seeing 2 cars.

Blacktop 4age 20v VS B16A big vtec. Both are 4 door sedan.

I know civic has a huge potential in both the body / suspension / engine department. Items are swappable from gen to gen.

But I seldom hear people modding AE101 unlike the Civic market.

Is it because parts are scarce? Or the car has lesser potential? Not a big aftermarket?

Thanks in advance!

I feel that its kinda high.

tire & alignment shop

guys, any of u experience this? most, i say most, because not all of these alignment shops, when u get there to do your camber adjustment / allignment, they confirm will test your car. driving my car is not a problem at the very least. (im the kind of person who doesn't feel comfortable when other people is behind the wheel)

but what i hate is, they treat their customer's car like a track car and the open road like sepang. they whack and wallop and ram your car until reach redline at each gear shift
(more so, those with loud and noisy cars they will ram and shift almost at the limiter)

now most shops my area have quite abit bumpy road condition, and the fact that i just done an alignment made it all go to waste. =_='''

not only that, the way they downshift.. wat da farq. they dont rev-match. i don't care if u dont use heel-toe but u didin't even rev-match downshift causing the car to give a violent jerk.

then here's the really annoying part! they claim that they are EX-DRIVERS in the sepang and entered numerous track events when they were younger. talked to me about it so proudly. as if la.. please... downshift u dont rev-match.. dont even talk about heel-toe la. how can i even believe you? more so, hand the keys to you the next time?

as a customer, shan't i have the right to ask them not to "test" my car?\

share your experiences here! let's duscuss.

Hey all, I would like to ask how do I stiffen up my chassis for my car to have better cornering abilities? Here are the list of mods I've done:

-Stiff Ring
-UR Fender
-UR Front Strut
-UR Rear Srtut
-UR Lower Side
-UR Rear ARB

My friend told me to change ALL bushings to Polyurathane by SuperPro.
The other one told me to have them machined and pressed to Teflon ones.

Are there only certain bushings to change and its enough or should I change ALL of them to get the full "tight" effect?

Also whats the cost if, say, a full complete set of bushing replacement?

Thanks guys!

Hey everyone, I dunno if this is the right place to post but I'm totally torn between the 2 devices which are

-Samsung Galaxy Edge plus
-iPhone 6s Plus

I have been using Android throughout these years and am an avid Android user. What I'm afraid of Android is the LAG. Does the Samsung still lags?

iPhone on the other hand doesn't have the camera I'm looking for, but it doesnt lag one bit.

Whoever is using any of these 2 devices please give me a hand.
