Charges penalty for canceling loan (ahlong loan)

Hi guys recently i try to borrow money from ahlong, guess what i already sign the agreement. Now i found a better place to borrow money not ahlong.. i tell ahlong to cancel my loan, but he tell me, i need to pay penalty 10% from the total amount i borrow. I need to pay him rm600 for rm6000 i try to borrow. What should i do now, should i just ignore him or what. Or should i asking help from lawyer, police. Not sure if they will help peasant like me 😱
