Unifi Bandwidth Limits

Hi,

Does if anyone knows how does unifi set it's bandwidth limits? Is it tied to your account.

For example, if say I have 2 unifi subscriptions at different addresses (one with higher speed eg. 30mbps the other with 50mbps) if I use the 50 mbps acc to login to the home which is subsribing to a 30mbps acc, would I be able to get 50mbps speed?

Anyone tried this out b4?

WTA Removing bedside table

Want ask carpenters / renovation experts here on my issue of trying to remove a bedside table.

I am wondering i its possible to move the table in the picture temporarily and later reassemble it back as before.

Was told most likely the table is supported by large nails / screws from the back of the headboard and unlike to be able to remove it and then put it back later without damaging the whole thing.

Any ideas how much it would cost to get someone to do this?

Dear Sifus,

Would like recommendation on building a rig which would cost between RM1.3k to RM1.8k (excluding windows, monitor, keyboard etc)?

Will be using it mostly for everyday usage (watch movies, surf web, etc.) with the occasion gaming (nothing too high end, eg d3 SC2, hence will need at least a mediocre GPU).

Was also thinking, could I use a small SSD for my OS boot hdd. I already have an existing normal hdd which I can bring over to the new rig.

I saw the dell P2012H but wondering if there are better alternatives. The dell looks like it takes a lot of depth space and i prefer something less.

Hi, can anyone advice on the process of purchasing a new car by cash?

I am told that I will need to settle the full amount before dealer can arrange for JPJ registration, transfer, etc. Is that normal?

Obviously, from my question you can tell I have some trust issues. I am not familiar with the car dealer and wondering if it is safe to do so.

Is there anything I can look out for to ensure the dealer is genuine? Thank you.

Hi,

Need advice on a cheap printer solution. Here is the situation:

1. I seldom print stuff but would still need a printer from time to time
2. Previous printers, ink always dry up before I can finish using them due to low usage

Hence, I am looking for a printer which has cheap refills. I do not mind paying a little bit more for the printer itself as long as refills are cheap I guess.

Any advice? All in ones with scanner and photocopiers are a bonus (would like to have) but not essential I guess.

Hi,

I understand these days many mobile phones have pre-install (if not can self install) wifi hotspot option which lets you share your internet with your pc. I was just wondering is it a good idea to use this as long term solution to your internet needs?
1. How bad is it for your phone if you use it as a wifi hotspot all the time? (obviously you will need to keep charging it)
2. What if you just use the cable to connect to your pc instead of wifi hotspot, does this make a big difference?

For the time being, ignore the ISP side whether they are fine with this or not since it depends on which telco and what package... can still always stock a broadband sim in there and just use phone as a dongle replacement..
