Tenancy Agreement - Renewal

I am about to renew my rental tenure (I am the renter) for another year. But it means the initial Tenancy Agreement (TA) would have lapsed.
Question is, is it better to have it renewed through 'mati setem' at the LHDN? Or it would suffice to have it verbally agreed through writing with the landlord?

Is screensaver still necessary?

I am using a flat screen monitor, and the screen would always be on, even when I left idle. Not sure if it is better to have screensaver?

So there's this article mentioning about the Shopee SLoan, a personal loan. I am keen to know if there are others who have tried this, and how was the experience like?

As for me, I have activated SLoan, and gotten a pre-approval of 10k. Pretty simple, as I am also a SPay (The Buy Now, Pay Later user) user.
I think since most of the verification have been done for SPay, my SLoan has been approved quickly.

But I have not proceeded further as in I have not applied for the loan yet. LOL meant to ask if others have tried, and how was it like from applying to making the final loan payment. Easy, recommended, avoid?

Note: I hope this thread is not hijacked by those on virtues to avoid Personal Loan at all cost, because that's a topic meant to be discussed elsewhere.

When to approach landlord for rental extension?

My rental is due in the next 6months, and I wish to extend the rental tenure.

Other than extending the tenure, I sort of wish if I could have the rental fixed at the same price, and hopefully to have a longer period (from the current two months) for the landlord to inform me should I need to vacate the rental unit. Maybe a three-month notice ?

When/how best to approach this ?

Other than the high Debt Service Ratio, any idea why the person's CC application with a third bank got rejected? Payments are all on time (i.e. all 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0)
Salary more than enough for a Gold card, but no idea on other details for example employment duration or anything else.

As the title suggests, I would like to know what would be the Use-Case scenarios that would make using VPN an option? I know the Govt is snooping on us, VPN or not. But there any reasons to use VPN at all. I'd like to know from you all. To use, or not to use. That is the question.

So, Public Mutual (PM) provides a scheme that allows a portion of EPF Savings 1 to be taken out and invested in Public Mutual's Unit Trusts. The idea behind it is diversification.
Is this a good idea, or best to keep EPF money.... in EPF? If anything, EPF does give out quite high returns, yes? Any counter arguments to say that it is wise to invest the money in PM instead?

CC Outstanding vs Settlement Personal Loan

This is a theoretical question. So let say I have a 10k outstanding CC (conventional, i.e. interest is compounded), and a 5k Personal Loan. Assuming that I have 5k of spare money, which is best to settle first? This is to assume that I needed a better-looking CCRIS for me to apply for housing loans. I am incline to say settle Personal Loan first, as I could apply for rebates, and it would mean one less 'loans' in my CCRIS. Thoughts?

Strength Training Causes Male-Boobs to Grow

Okay, let see if I can explain this further.

So I have started (for ~3months) doing strength training at the gym (shoulder press, bench press, etc..) and noticed that my chest has sort of gotten.... bigger? The ones like when girls just hitting puberty. Which is a bummer, as I wasn't planning to getting boobs. Was aiming for a more buff chest, not like growing a pair! And the nipples are getting so prominent, that it shows over the shirt I am wearing.

What have I done wrong? For more info, my diets remain the same, so I am incline to say that this is caused by my training regime. Thoughts?

Internet Explorer - Saved Passwords

I have switched to Edge, but what happens is that all of my log-in details were not carried over. & what's worst is that I no longer have access to the email account to retrieve passwords (which means if I request for lost passwords, I'll never be able to gain access again). Is there a way for me to check for saved passwords in Internet Explorer, ones that are not masked? I sure hope the experts here can help me out, thank you !

This is think is the 'Photos' app in Windows. Any way to re-order the Icons ? I sort of want the 'Delete' icon only (and maybe adding 'Slideshow' in there, but the rest is un-needed.

I tried to register to this MyBayarSaman JPJ, but try as I might, never gotten the OTP to complete the registration.

Tried both on the App and online. Question is, can somebody else who manage to register for this, pay on behalf?
Or only the registered car owner and NRIC to match before can pay?
That is one, and another thing is, any other options to pay for the summons (without going to the JPJ counter) ?

Friends Un-friending you on SocMed

So I have been struggling with this for quite a while. I know, I know, it is petty, but it does bother me. It bothers me that my 'friends' are un-friending me on social medias. Well, I say friends, but yes sure some of them are officemates, some schoolfriends etc. Well, every once in a while, you'd see your counter like turun, by say 1. & following week like two more un-friend. Not too sure why, which made me struggle with the idea even more. I suspect that maybe they were approached by a fake account imposing to be me, but I can't be too sure. Or maybe because I wasn't engaging with them (like liking their photos regularly) but I do read their postings

Anyone else struggling with this ? Or any thought on how I should go about handling this ?

Does VPN reduces hacker attacks?

A no0b, at best. But supposing that hackers uses IP address to launch attacks, would then using VPN makes it harder for hackers to hack my computer ? This is on the understanding that I am vigilant on how I use the Internet, like not downloading suspicious files, not venturing to dodgy websites, etc..
