It is sad that the Edifier S2.1D is no longer in production. It was superb with the Macs with digital output. The clarity is so superb that when I hear it the first time, I was REALLY listening to the music. Bought one and have been recommending the speakers to backroom editors using MacPro coz of its sound clarity and price. Backroom editors need that criteria.

I heard there is a protoype replacing the S2.1D in May. It is not the M2000.

Anyone have any idea when its coming to Malaysia and how much the price gonna be?

Forgot to add. Any other 2.1 speakers out there with optical/spdif input? And how much?
