So I noticed quite a lot of people earn above 10k in Salary thread but very few IT jobs in Jobstreet have this figure. you get the usual senior programmer 5-8k and stuff. How do people seek for those above 10k jobs.

If one is local from East Malaysia, what will be the best approach to rent a room in KL if one is offered a job there?

There is definitely a huge geographic and cost barrier for a person to fly back and forth to check out rooms.

Are there any good ways to go about it?

FM Radio in Office

How will you like it?

What if the channel isn't your taste?

I seem some departments like HR sometimes have this. Although the volume is not too loud.

Broken CRT Monitor

Hi guys, I have 1 or 2 broken CRT monitors as in something inside the circuit had gone bad so will never switch on.
I don't see any good use for them anymore.
So best solution is just throw out these monitor at some junk dumping area?

PC Internal Speaker Beep

Guys,

I got one old PC where the startup beep is quite loud. Recently I decided want to turn it off forever. So I open the CPU and took off / unplug the cable (black & red twisted wire) which go to that small speaker inside the casing.

I thought it finally done, but I switch on the PC and the BEEP comes again!
Did I unplug wrongly or something? I don't believe so because I remember I run my finger along that unplugged wire and it goes to that small speaker.

So how can it beep again? I have closed the cover already or else I will have go near with my ear to find where the BEEP come from.

Any ideas? Or maybe there are some other ways the motherboard can BEEP? No external speaker is attached currently.
