Reducing compensation after offer accepted

Hi guys,

I've recently been offered a role and wanted to accept it. But HR reduced the offer amount after I verbally accepted the offer on the basis that I tried to negotiate a higher amount. The amount is not huge but starts to raise red flags for me towards the company despite being the top in their industry.

What do you guys think? Should I accept the lower offer?

Dog training

Hi there,

My dog is a 3 years old female pomeranian that has been house trained to pee indoors on the tray like the below:

She had no problem peeing/pooing on the tray for the past 3 years but for one day a few months ago she stop peeing on the tray but just beside it and slowly started peeing further away.

We had tried all sort of things like:

-Buying a new tray and tried to train her
-Using pet trainer spray (for the tray to smell like pee)
-Enclosing her inside together with the tray and food and bed (she ended up peeing on the small floor space and lie on her pie)
-Bringing her to vet (the vet says she's perfectly healthy)
-Enclosing her with pee pads as the floor. (she just held it in until we came back and her her out and pee/poo when we're not looking)
-bring her up the tray time to time and reward her

Any more ideas?

For Own Stay/Investment first studio

Hi all,

I'm currently looking to buy a studio or SOHO (400sqf & above) for own stay and hopefully for investment in the much further future since i'll be staying alone. I'll be mostly looking at subsale or full move in completion early 2016. Perhaps i'm thinking of getting another place a few years down the road if i could afford another loan and just rent out the current one I intend to buy.

The area i would prefer is in petaling jaya (I have been renting there for over 3 & 1/2 years) and been looking around for a while.

My budget (all in including renovations etc) is 450k or 500k(if it's good investment).

Recently I have been narrowing down to Damansara Perdana area and considering a few places such as NEO damansara, Empire damansara, Empire City & metropolitan square. Been looking around the forums and here are some impressions i've gotten (of course credibility is an issue)

Metropolitan Square: Seems like the safest bet out of those i have considered and the least vacant. How issues arising from higher density places? And since there's pubs in the lower floors it seems to be a bit noisy at night?

Neo damansara: Seems pretty vacant and also perhaps the same noise pollution at night as Metropolitan Square? In addition there's an absence of visitor parking?

Empire damansara: The prices here are unusually low, but i heard there's problems with parking, management and so? With such price, would SOHO be much more worth investing than studio units?

Empire City (HALO SUNDAY): I guess the riskiest and perhaps the most rewarding of them all with a mall below in such an ambitious project. I have also heard some dissatisfaction over the VP? I saw the building last night and it looks pretty damn majestic!

I'm also considering Centrestage PJ however it's understandably high price per sqf it's a bit unattractive.

Are all of these units under commercial titles?

Feel free to recommend me other areas in PJ too, i'm open for feedbacks.

Additional question: The timing. Would you say it's a bad time to purchase property due to the recent economic instability?

Thank you so much!
