currently my old lappie is using a DDR256 PC266 + DDR128, im thinking of upgrading a new ram ... would a DDR256 PC266 + DDR512 PC333 be compatible? or would it crash?

when usually a promotion starts to kick in? just before new year? or maybe in march?

FingerPrint Reader are now intergrated in many notebooks for extra security, but what if a have a cut on my finger or severed my finger (touchwood). my question is :-

1. is the FingerPrint Reader useful? or can we do without it?
2. if its already intergrated, are there any other way to log in to the pc by bypassing the FingerPrint Reader?

3. Intel T7300 @ 800FSB / 4mb cache

previously i have my eyes set on Toshiba Satellite M100-3011E, that too only uses T7200 @ 667 FSB

any recommendations?
