What and how do you watch stuff on TV?

I've been renting and living without TV for so long now, last watch during astro and antenna tv era before MYTV is a thing
so my knowledge on TV is very2 outdated liao

usually I just torrent stuff and watch on PC

Soon I will have my own space soon and already impulse boughted xiaomi tv on lazada sale today, now dunno how to use
How do I watch my downloaded stuff from my PC on the tv? casting or copy into usb like a caveman?
pc will be far away from tv so not gonna use hdmi

Any gooding TV box that can watch hollywood and ccp content?

I'm proposing for a feature where spoiler can be automatically applied to long reply/quote so other users don't have to scroll through the same text and image multiple times.

Scenario where this can be applied:
Sometimes it is very annoying when other users reply to the first post by thread starter and includes the entire news article and images. This happens very frequently especially in kopitiam subforum.

I have a Logitech speaker plugged in into the 3.5mm jack on the back of motherboard (Biostar H410MH), and another headset (MH751) connected to the front 3.5mm jack. Prior to my motherboard upgrade, my pc will detect them as an individual speakers and headset when both the speakers and headset are connected and I can select which one to use from the sound setting. On my new system both are detected as speaker.

The current scenario are:

1. Only speaker connected, audio plays through speaker, system detects is as speaker.

2. Only headset connected, audio plays through headset, system detects is as speaker.

3. Both speaker & headset connected, audio plays through headset, which the system detects it as speaker. There is no way for me to switch to my speaker while the headset is still connected. I don't like the idea of plug and unplug my headset every time I want to use it.

I also found out that many users were having this similar problem, and it usually have something to do with Realtek High Definition Audio driver. But all the discussions online have to solution.

What I have tried/checked so far:

1. Reinstall both the latest version driver and older version driver.

2. Disable Realtek High Definition Audio on device manager and install High Definition Audio device driver.

3. Tested my speaker and headset on other system and they are detected separately as speaker and headset

4. Using a different headset, the same result.

5. No loose connection on 3.5mm jacks and motherboard.

What it shows for all 3 scenarios mentioned above.

Both front and rear 3.5mm jacks under the same speakers properties

How I want it to be.

Realtek HD Audio Manager shows both rear and front 3.5mm jack connected.

my laptop can get 30Mbps full speed but using the tplink on my dekstop is so unstable and cannot get full speed

im not able to use lan cable so its out of the question.
