Car bang by motorcycle at the rear

Hi All,
What an unlucky day it is.
Was on the way back home when the car in front of me start to slow down and stopped which I did the same.
Somehow a bike from the back bang my car rear and then he fall down.

There's the car workshop rider nearby and ask us to move n stop at the side.
Then the rider start to ask question. This and that. Then said even the motor fault, cant claim them/etc.

End of the day, the motorbike rider fren come and fetch him back. I didn't manage to get his contact except for his bike pic which I manage to take.

My question is. Should I go and make police report?
No matter what, I won't be able to claim his insurance, right.

I'm just worried that if I don't make police report, later my NCD will be gone.
I plan to fix the car myself since my NCD is alrdy 55%.

Wobbling feel inside the car

Hi.
I'm currently driving Forte. Whenever my car is stationary while waiting to turn/etc and when car moving pass by me from the side, I'll feel wobbling/a bit shaky.
Is this normal? The sensation is stronger if it's bigger vehicle such as bus/lorry.

TNB Tariff

Normally, I won't go into details the TNB billing. Just now, I notice that the tariff used for my bill is diff as shown below.
June usage is 1KWh more than May, but it's cheaper by almost RM5. Any idea how TNB calculate this?

bent rim/crooked rim and tyre eating at inner wall

Hi All..

Went to service my forte 2.0 for the 40k service.. As they need to perform the brake bleeding/etc, i ask them to perform the balancing and alignment as well..
After that, I was informed that my rim is crooked/bent as it's deviate/spinning left n right when they put it on the balancing tools (the tools which will spin the wheel)..
Was asked to change the rim and also the tyre since it's eating at the inner side.. overall, they said 2 of the rim is very bad and need to change.. quoted me RM300 each for a second hand ori forte rim (nt inclusive of tyre) which i reject..

My question is.. is there anyway I can repair the rim? or I need to change all the rim?

Good day my fellow mate.. This is the first time I got my own property, double storey terrace house in mainland Penang.
So now, it's time for me to start looking for contractor for reno/etc.. So far, got the quote from the electrical guy.
Do you think the price is ok? I'll post more as times goes when I receive other quote for plaster ceiling/etc.

accident report

just got accident outside my company at bayan lepas, pg.
someone knock the back of my car when i'm stopping my car to turn right with the right indicator ON...
later going to make the police report after work.

Is it possible to make the report at any police station? or do I have to go to the nearest one near the accident area?

Car insurance transfer

Search around for this, but didn't find any matches so I just open a new thread on this.

Going to buy a new car for my wife. Current wife's car is under her dad's name, so she don't have any NCD at all.
Since my NCD is at 38.3%, I'll transfer my car NCD to the new car.

Then I'll use my wife's name to buy a new insurance for my current car (old wira which is still under my name).
I hv ask the SA for the new car, he said this is possible to be done.

But I just wanna double confirmed with all the expert here.. is this possible?
Meaning that the old car will still under my name, but the new insurance will be under my wife's name.

Handphone micro usb charger

currently, i own 2 android phone, samsung G5 and ideos X5, both comes with their own micro usb charger.
samsung travel adapter - output : 5.0V == 0.7A
huawei power adapter - output : 5.0V == 1.0A

anyone know whether i can just use either one of this charger to charge both of my phone? will it cause any problem like inadequate power charge/etc?

Currently, she plan to buy a new car. Is it possible to transfer his dad's insurance nbc to her?
or does she has to start the insurance from 0 ncd ?

WTA: Battery charge warning light

Hi guys.. need some help here.
yesterday nite while driving my car (wira) for dinner, i notice the "battery charge warning light" is on. It's the battery logo if you know what I mean.
I did some browsing on the net and it seem that this problem mostly due to battery going to die soon or problem with the alternator.

Anyone know of the ways to check whether the problem is due to the battery or alternator?
if it's juz battery problem, i can just send to the tyre shop outside my hse to change it.
if it's alternator problem, any idea how much will it cost?

WTA: wireless usb adapter

was looking for wireless usb adapter that can support packet injection for both window and linux.
after some searching, many ppl recommend using those wireless adapter that use atheros/realtek chipset.
so far, don't have much luck looking for such adapter as most shop are selling linksys/dlink adapter.

anyone here know which model of wireless usb adapter that support packet injection?

Is this display card burned?

Hi All..

Out of sudden, my pc doesn't show anything on the monitor when i boot it up. When i turn the power on, there is no display at all on the monitor and after like 30sec, it will give beep warning.
At first i thought it's monitor problem so i connect my notebook to the monitor and it can display on it, so i rule out the monitor problem.
then i check the display card (7600GT) and found a burn mark on it. I'm just curious as when i turn on the pc, the fan on the display card is moving.

I just need some help and confirmation to troubleshoot more on this problem before i proceed to buy a new display card

Some update... A fren of mine from penang just performed lasik at island hospital in penang.
After checking with her, found that need to go for followup checkup few times after the operation (next day after operation, 1 week after operation, 1 month after operation, etc).
So now, my option is only left for penang lasik centre. Anyone can share got lasik center for penang?
I heard both optimax and island is ok.. anyone have any comment on this? Thanks.

I'm currently working in Kedah but will be back to my hometown in malacca end of this month for 1+week holiday.
Want to take this chance to do lasik surgery for my eye but I have no idea which good hospital or center did provide the lasik surgery.

Possible to temporary halt phone/streamyx line

Hi Guys,

Need some help here.. i'll be moving from my current house to a new house (same town, ~5km distance apart) starting Feb 09.
I have went to check with TM and according to them, i'm able to transfer both my phone and streamyx line from old house to new house.
Since i'll be goin bck home town during CNY, most probably i won't be using the streamyx for at least 2-3 weeks..

I ask the TM staff whether i can be waived for waiver since i'll move/halt my line on 9 Jan 09 (old house) and only activate it back on the new house on 2 Feb 09. According to them, i still have to pay for the rental/etc although i'm not using them during that period.

I was like as i don't understand why should i pay even if i didn't use it. Bear in mind, that i'm temporary halting both the phone and streamyx for around 2-3week which i deem to be fair to have some waiver for it..

Anyone have any experience on phone line and streamyx moving from one place to another? Possible to get any waiver for this?

How to remove car tint

My car tint is almost 6 years dy and now bubble starting to appear and it is getting worst.
Is it possible to remove it myself? Anyone know how to do it?
