Dear Lowyat.net members,

Maybank GO Ahead. Challenge is now open for application! Maybank is organizing this competition with the aim of discovering hidden gems in universities across Asia. Top students in penultimate or final year will go head to head with other with students from top universities in Malaysia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore.

USD 45,000 is up for grabs for top 3 winning teams that come out tops in the grand finale. Participants will go through 2 national level challenges and top 30 participants will be selected as finalists for the grand finale which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Finalists also stand a chance to get fast pass to join Global Maybank Apprentice Programme (GMAP).

The competition structure is as follows:

Preliminary Rounds:
• Students have to submit their application form and a Youtube video (1-2 minutes) introducing themselves and why they want to join Maybank GO Ahead. Challenge.
Applicants will have to sit for online assessment test.

National Levels:
• Short-listed candidates will be invited to go for the second round- “Innovative Challenge” and “Business Case Analysis & Presentation”.

Grand Finale:
• Top 30 candidates will be selected as finalists to compete in the final challenge and ultimate challenge for 4 days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Application Criteria

Students who:
• Are pursuing their penultimate or final year of their tertiary education in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines and Hong Kong.
• Have strong academic credentials from any discipline (CGPA of 3.0 over 4.0 and above or its equivalent).
• Possess good communication skills
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Display strong leadership qualities and are active in extracurricular activities

I would like to spread some love on Harvest Moon in the Nintendo forum. This is a new harvest moon, which has been launched in Japan for the 3DS in February 2012. We're still waiting for Natsume (or other publisher this time?) for the North America launch.

Description

Basically, most of the HM formula is still in tact in this game, with a few new and welcoming features, as follows:-

1) You can now design/ customize your own town. You may moves the shops around, arrange the layout so you can farm more efficiently.
2) The main character can be customize as well. You can change his/her hairstyle, clothes, face features, and so on.
3) Oversize vegetables
4) You can now go on vacation with your wife/ family.

Belkin Wireless G Network Card

Okay, Belkin seems to be having problem with me..(or i'm having problem with it..)

I bought a new CPU today, along side with the belkin network card. Tested the PC, first time i could connect, then i restarted it after i installed some softwares. After that, it could detect the wireless connection but can never connect to those network. Password is correct, SSID correct, tried using both belkin or window utility it still wouldnt connect. Any idea whats wrong with it?..

Actually, i used to have 1 long time ago and i thought it was the network card problem so i switch brand to D-Link. Now my company's new PC is having the same problem. So i think it must be something else..
