The laptop manual states that the maximum ram is 8gb. <br /><br />i would like to know if the laptop 1st ram slot can take up to 8gb ram, or i have to purchase 2 4gb ram in order to reach 8gb.<br /><br />The reason for the replacement is that recently I always getting bsod when playing games. Then about another 15-30mins or less, it dc again, and reconnect with speed less than 2000kbps. The process will continue until it drop till less than 1000kbps, and the line can stay without disconnection.<br /><br />So, my so called Streamyx 4Mbps line can only last for 20mins. I would like to know if anyone here has had the same problem. <br /><br />I have checked my modem status page, when at high speed, my snr margin is around 6db mostly. But at low speed, snr margin can increase to 20db something especially when speed is less than 1000kbps.<br /><br />My phone cable is newly installed since June as at that time, there was a line problem caused by phone line wire joint. The installation process also relocate my phone line to another new telephone pole as well.<br /><br />There was nothing can do by technician as every report I have made was closed using reason of PC problem and modem faulty.
