Hi anyone working in telco can confirm some info? I just registered this sim card last month because free 10GB. So suspiciously just now i received tac number to login.It say will expires in 3 minute, do not share tac with anyone.

If receive this just kind SMS, is it must be someone trying to request the tac through the 4G yes app?

And also I want know is it possible for telco staff inside to duplicate another sim under the same number? I just worry later they use my number for fraud purpose.

Jellewery Shop Robber Shot Dead Accomplice

Two armed robbers who attempted to escape with RM500,000 worth of jewellery at OUG Plaza yesterday ended with one of them shot and wounded by a security guard. When the 34-year-old robber collapsed on the ground, his accomplice turned around and shot him twice, killing him instantly.

At 2:45pm, the robbers approached the Poh Kong jewellery shop on the ground floor of OUG Plaza, which had an armed security guard and four shop assistants.

They grabbed the security guard’s pump gun and ordered the workers to scoop several trays of expensive jewellery into a plastic bag which they brought with them. There were four workers in the shop at the time of the robbery. With a pistol, the robbers confronted the guard and got hold of his pump-action shotgun. Then, they forced the shop assistants to fill up plastic bags with trays of jewellery.

The robbers were not aware of another armed guard seated behind a one-way mirror inside the shop, who was taking aim at them. When the robbers started to flee, the guard fired a shot and hit the robber with the seized shotgun. The robber with the pistol returned fire but missed.

That was when the wounded robber collapsed and his accomplice turned on him by firing two shots. Police said this robber is considered armed and dangerous.

The dead robber had been previously convicted of armed robbery and drug abuse. Both are believed to be drug addicts.

Police will be releasing a photofit of the armed robber, who got away with eight trays of jewellery, after viewing the shop’s CCTV recording.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 — Four men armed with pistols, machetes and a hammer robbed a goldsmith’s at Plaza OUG here of more than RM1 million worth of jewellery today.

The robbers, wearing helmets, masks and green vests, entered the shop at about 1pm and pointed a pistol at the five employees, three women and two men, said Brickfields Police Chief ACP Sharul Othman Mansor.

Robbers stage daring jewelry heist at mall

KUALA LUMPUR: A jewelry shop at Plaza OUG was robbed in broad daylight this afternoon.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Shahrul Othman said the incident occurred at about 12.50 on Friday, when four men wearing masks and helmets barged into the shop, armed with a hammer, machete, and what was thought to be a gun.

"The robbers managed to steal 21 trays of jewelry. We are still estimating the total amount lost," said ACP Shahrul.

Shortly after, the group ran off in a waiting car, though to be a green Mercedes.

"The forensics department currently has nine swabbing of blood from the scene, as well as two glass shards with traces of blood. They will be sent in for analysis," said ACP Shahrul.

There were five workers tending the shop at the time of the robbery, as well as an armed guard.

It is known that the armed guard could not react in time before the gun-wielding thief pointed the weapon to the workers.

Sources say that loses could reach over RM1,000,000, and that the incident lasted only minutes.

"When I saw (the suspect with the hammer) I quickly ran away. I was worried he had other weapons with him," said a nearby shopkeeper who wished to be called Siti.
ACP Shahrul said that the case was being investigated for armed robbery.

This not the first time. I remember many years back got case smtg like that but the robbers shot his team mate at mcd there before fleeing away. But this one very fake...Insurance company not stupid...

RIO DE JANEIRO: Malaysian badminton is on the rebound at the Rio Olympics with Datuk Lee Chong Wei expected to provide the "icing on the cake".

Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) technical director Morten Frost Hansen (pix) said Chong Wei will win the gold medal in the men's singles and that mixed doubles pair Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying were the next best hope.

He said the pair had won three matches in a row and that men's doubles -- Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong - also had the ability to win a gold medal if they played to their full potential.

"I am positively suprised with the men's doubles," he said here after watching the mixed pair making great strides by reaching Wednesday's final.

"All this while I have been saying Chong Wei will win the gold in Olympics," said the Danish badminton legend.

Peng Soon-Liu Ying will meet Indonesia's world's number three, Tontowi Ahmad-Liliyana Natsir for the gold medal.

Frost admitted that the Indonesians were still a difficult pair and favourites for the title but insisted that it was not impossible for Peng Soon-Liu Ying to use the winning momentum to turn on the tables on their rivals.

"The Indonesian pair have been playing together on higher level for many years but the Malaysian pair have been incredible for the last 18 months," he said.

Chong Wei will meet Taiwan's Chou Tien Chen in the quarterfinals on Wednesday before meeting his arch nemesis Lin Dan of China in the semifinals on Friday. – Bernama
