Car Charger for Mazda 3 Skyactive

Hi, anyone tried using a USB car charger in a Mazda 3 Skyactive?

I'm a bit worried about not being able to close the armrest after plugging it in since the socket is located quite near the top, but I hope I'm just being paranoid. Thank you

I'm considering these two:

Car Charger (Fast Charge for S7)

Hi, does anyone have any experience with fast car chargers? Looking for one for my S7 and want to buy something reliable. I found the original Samsung Fast Car Charger here:

http://www.lelong.com.my/samsung-adaptive-...7-01-Sale-I.htm

Specs: Adaptive Fast Charging, Charging compatible device's battery from 0 to 50% in about 30 minutes, Charge other Micro USB devices at a 2A speed

Output: 9 V 1.67 A
Price: RM120+ (without cable)

Problem: It's a bit tall and unsuitable for my car (socket is inside armrest so I won't be able to close the armrest when charging).

The cheaper and more compact alternative is a Xiaomi charger:
http://www.lelong.com.my/original-xiaomi-m...7-01-Sale-I.htm

Price: RM40+ (with cable)

Output:
A. Support 5V / 2.4A max fast charging for single USB output.
B. Support 5V / 3.6A max fast charging for two USB output.

*I don't understand the numbers

Just wondering if anyone has tried Samsung or Xiaomi, or have other recommendations?

Please share your experience

Thanks!

Hi guys, I've been researching for a telco that offers a basic plan with some data and call time with a free/cheap phone for my online business. I just need a basic smartphone for calls, whatsapp, email and Facebook only. Any recommendations?

Thank you

Here’s why it’s useless to count calories

I ate like a buffalo during CNY, so naturally, I read everything to do with calories after binge season. Found this article flipping through Flipboard today and thought it would be great to share if you haven't read it already

Americans are relying on a broken system to lose weight — here’s why it’s useless to count calories

Industrial food processing, which subjects foods to extremely high temperatures and pressures, might be freeing up even more calories. The food industry, says Wrangham, has been “increasingly turning our food to mush, to the maximum calories you can get out of it. Which, of course, is all very ironic, because in the West there’s tremendous pressure to reduce the number of calories you’re getting out of your food.”

*Sorry if I sound jakun for posting this, but I found it extremely interesting I hope I have the determination to stay away from all that yummy food when my metabolism rate starts dipping with age

Do you have a delicious diet plan that has worked for you?

[WTA] ASUS ROG GL552WL

Hi, I would like to ask those who have purchased or tried out this laptop in Malaysia. I know I can just go to a shop to see it but I'm just too swamped with work to go during opening hours.

1. What's the build quality like?

2. Is it an aluminum body or plastic?

3. Does it overheat easily?

4. What do you like and dislike about it?

I'm quite ok with the specs, but wondering what it's really like from your experience.

Thanks in advance.

*edit: I'd like to add that I'm getting such a heavy laptop because I also use it for designing.

iPhone 6 plus cover

Hi guys, I'm looking for an iPhone 6 plus cover.

Here are my preferences:
1) Must have front flap (like a book cover) that is also 'lockable' (preferably with a magnet)
2) Rubber phone holder inside
3) Durable (bought RM200 covers last time but only lasted me 4 months before looking like rotten vege)
4) Looks-wise needs to be professional or have a corporate-friendly theme

I use my phone a lot and it's always in my handbag. I don't mind paying more for a good quality cover but so far the expensive covers seem to only last 2-3 months more than the cheap >RM50 covers. I've already wasted a lot of money on covers over the past 5 years, and I hope to not waste more

Any recommendations for brand/type? Links would be great help. Thank You!

Trinity Aquata

So my parents have been hunting for property and is seriously considering a unit at Trinity Aquata for investment and possibly for own stay. What do you guys think of Trinity Aquata? Has anyone bought a unit there? Mind to share your thoughts or extra info that can help them decide?

I've gathered some info from my parents about the development, but wasn't there myself so I'll try to be as accurate as possible:

Info about the unit that they are interested in:

About RM701k nett for 1,154 sqft after 5% discount and 8% rebate with free 2 car parks, free loan agreement stamp duty and free SPA legal fees excl MOT. Maintenance is RM0.31 psf. Booking fee is RM1k and 2% downpayment.

Reasons why they like it:

- freehold
- if they want to rent out, it's good because it's nearby Terminal Bersepadu Selatan which has a few train lines and an MRT station.
- they like the family-oriented layout as their investments in such properties so far are fully rented out with minimal issues
- if they want to stay there, it's suitable for them as they have a business nearby
- they love water, so the water theme is perfect for them
- their friends say good things about the developer
- their feng shui theories which I know little about

They were initially concerned about the access road, but was told that it will be widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes.
