Job Description :
Seeking for a Project Manager for the new construction of a large logistics centre project located in the Port of Tanjung Pelepas / Malaysia. The role will commence from August 1, 2016 and will continue for 2 years until the completion of the project.

Project Brief :
The developer intends to implement a new construction project in in the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia. The building will be non-air- conditioned dry storage with a GFA of approximately 106,000 m 2 on two main levels over ground. The main structure will be made of pre cast concrete, steel and concrete based on structural requirements. While the building will be used by multiple tenants, the anchor tenant of the building will be a European MNC. It is the objective of this development project to design and construct the RDC in one phase, design commenced in May 2016.

Responsibilities :
1) Represent company on a construction site in Port of Tanjung Pelepas
2) Supervise the Construction Management Team
3) Supervise the Schedule Management
4) Supervise the OHS on the site
5) Hands-on role in QA/AC processes
6) Establish reporting system, manage the preparation of progress reports
7) Documentation of the project
8) Change Management in liaison with QS consultant
9) Contact point for the construction team, including the Main Building Works Contractor, Nominated Subcontractors, Subcontractors and Material Suppliers
10) Manage the completion of the project, including commissioning of the building services, preparation of Q&M manuals and application for the CCC.

1) Monthly Project Management Progress Report on the basis of EVM plans (by QS), progress monitoring (by schedule manager), cost monitoring (by QS), site supervision (by CM), HSE supervision and other consulting inputs
