            <title>RAM - Beep Error</title>

            <description>My Acer PC&lt;br /&gt;-Windows XP Pro SP2&lt;br /&gt;-Pentium 4 2.4GHz&lt;br /&gt;-Motherboard ACER (support max. 2GB)&lt;br /&gt;-Nvidia AGP Graphic card&lt;br /&gt;-Original RAM DDR Kingston KVR400X64C3A/512 x 2 (total 1GB)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My problem and troubleshooting.&lt;br /&gt;Last week buying 2nd RAM x 2 from forumer :&lt;br /&gt;-Kingston KVR400X64C3A/1G (Assembled in Taiwan)&lt;br /&gt;-Kingston KVR400X64C3A/1G (Assembled in China)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tested one-by-one:&lt;br /&gt;-RAM Taiwan made. Checked at BIOS ok. Checked at Windows properties ok.&lt;br /&gt;-RAM China made cannot boot-up...long beep sound. Changed slot also same.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Installed both RAM:&lt;br /&gt;-Can reboot, but checked at BIOS and Windows properties only 1GB.&lt;br /&gt;-Checked with CPUZ, CrystalMark and Dr hardware 2009 - show 2GB.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why my system cannot accept 2GB RAM?&lt;br /&gt;To expert and sifu here, any idea what to do?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;***already confirm, both RAM running fine in my friend PC.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>
