Semi-D Cluster D/S Linked

Hi all,

There is this new freehold development which is offering semi-d cluster linked houses of these sizes:

32 x 70 (inclusive of extra 10" feet land)
42 x 70 (inclusive of extra 20" feet land)

If I do a breakdown, it comes back to the usual size of a double storey which is 22 x 70. Does this size makes up a "luxury semi-d cluster D/S linked house"?

Price for corner starts at RM1.2m and location is at Rawang Emerald West. It has 5 rooms and 5 baths.

I've noticed other semi-d's at other areas have bigger floor size i.e. 24 x 75 but rarely I do come across of semi-d's with 22x70 or even 20x70.

Is it worth it?

Dear all,

We just bought a subsale property from Agent X.

Agent X promised that the house comes with partially furnished and it is even reflected in her ad on Mudah and iProperty (which I have saved a screenshot). The furnitures include sofa, dining set, TV cabinet and fridge.

However, once we got the keys, we noticed that the owner had taken all the furnitures that should be supposedly left for us.

I've contacted the agent about this and she got a shock! I told her to seek clarification from the owner and get back to me again.

I'm wondering, what other avenues that I have to progress this? Who to be blamed here? Owner or agent? How should I seek compensation for this?

Hi all,

My wife is in the midst of buying a property from an agent and the current status is waiting for loan submission. We agreed to deal with the agent for all matters for ease of tasks and communication.

However, prior to the loan submission, we received a call from a guy claiming to be a 'mortgage banker' and seems that he deals with all banks and will help to submit the loan, after receiving all the information and documents from our agent.

1) I thought normally the agents will submit the docs directly to bankers - where did this mortgage banker came in suddenly? how they will earn their fee or commission?

2) As of now, I suppose we will be 'tied' to the agent's lawyer. But once loan has been approved, can I change to some other lawyer? I've read some topics here that suggest NOT TO USE agent's or seller's lawyer due to some issues. (though I'm okay with the agent's lawyer as long as he/she won't overcharge or work like a snail)

Disassembling Jabra Extreme2 Bluetooth

I have a Jabra Extreme2 bluetooth device in which the ON/OFF slider button suddenly became loose.

I'm trying to see if I could open / disassemble the device to check myself but I just don't know where to start. Googling doesn't seem to help either. I tried popping the cover from the USB connector but I'm not even sure if I'm doing the right thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybank Debit Card nationwide issue?

Looks like today since morning, many people swiped their Maybank debit card but got declined.. Unfortunately, the 'declined' transaction got deducted and many ppl are venting their frustation in Maybank's FB page.

I kena also.. called their CS line terus kena disconnect.. wtf!
Not sure abt CC cards though albeit many are saying it affects CC as well.

Anyone having the same issue?
