INVITATION TO ATTEND THE 24TH IIUM CONVOCATION CEREMONY

Congratulations on your academic achievement at the International Islamic University Malaysia ! It gives us a great pleasure to invite you to attend the 24th IIUM Convocation Ceremony which will be held from 23rd August until 25th August 2008 at the Cultural Activity Centre, IIUM, Gombak.

To ensure the smooth running of the ceremony (as the rehearsal will no longer be held beginning the 24th Convocation), kindly click at www.iiu.edu.my/convo for detailed information on the convocation ceremony and familiarise yourself with the instructions and procedures. If you are UNABLE to be present for the ceremony, kindly fill in the Attendance Reply Slip form which is downloadable at the abovementioned website and return it to us before 15th August 2008 (Friday).

We wish to remind you that you are required to fill in the Tracer Study questionnaire which is accessible via http://itdportal.iiu.edu.my/tracer for IIUM Alumni Tracer Study and http://graduat.mohe.gov.my/kpgv3 for MOHE Tracer Study from 10th August 2008 until 22nd August 2008. (Contact Person : Br. Mohd. Noorizwan at 03-6196 4038).

Both printed confirmation slips of the tracer studies must be presented when collecting your robe (academic dress). For your information, the robe can be collected beginning 16th until 22nd August 2008 at the Cultural Activity Centre. (Contact Person : Ozaliyati binti Omar at 03-6196 4971).

You must also collect the following items when you collect your robe :

a) the invitation card for parents/guests;
b) seat number; and
c) the Convocation card.

You must bring along the Convocation card on the convocation day and hand it over to the person-in-charge when you are on stage. Your name will not be announced if you fail to produce the card.

We wish to inform you that the University has reserved front seats for disabled parents / guests and those in wheelchairs to attend the ceremony. Please inform the University in writing of the need by 11th August 2008 (Monday). The form can be downloaded at www.iiu.edu.my/convo (Contact Person : Mazlina Mustafa at 03-6196 4094).

To assist parents with small children (aged 7 years and below) who are attending the ceremony, the University also provides child care service managed by EDUCARE Child Development Centre at the rate of RM3.00 per hour per child for Saturday and Monday and RM6.00 per hour per child for the service requested on Sunday. Food is to be provided by the parents. Please inform the University in writing should you need the service (maximum is 25 children per session). The form can be downloaded at www.iiu.edu.my/convo. Confirmation of the service and the payment must be made to the EDUCARE office one week prior to the date of the ceremony. Walk-in applications will not be accepted. i just formatted my laptop (compaq v3759)..
before formatting, my windows is xp.. and at those time i can use my wifi..

after formatting by vista, the wifi controller icon (below, near the clock) is not appeared..
i dont know what driver i have to download to solve this problem..

any suggestion how should i do to get wifi back??

"what is falsafah??", "what is falsafah pendidikan??", etc..

my previous boss call me to work with them as a part-timer there..
now the semester just begin, and i got another part time job inside the university as a cyber cafe assistance..
i'm working there (cc) at night (randomly from 8pm to 3am) and sometimes at the day in the weekends..
my salary is around rm3 per hour, but i'm happy working there since no need to me to go outside campus, and not too tiring as before..

now, my boss asked me to help him..
he will give me a salary rm6 per hour..
and he wish to buy for me a motobike to make me easy go working..
but too many work there, that sometimes make me fell too tired..

can every one of you give any opinion..
which one do you think better for me..

i just changed both my ink tank to the new one.. after i print few times, the printer started had problem. first, every time to print, it will ask me to press the resume botton (because of stuck)..

later, the printer was stucked started when i turn it on..
