I realised the key to happiness is to have good friends gathering around with the sole purpose of just socialize without any hidden motive.

SINGAPORE: A 20-year-old woman in Taiwan who simply could not resist bubble tea had to undergo surgery to remove more than 300 kidney stones, said the hospital.

The woman, whom the Chi Mei Medical Centre identified only as Xiao Yu, was admitted last week to the hospital in the city of Tainan, with a fever and severe pain in her lower back, according to an article on the hospital’s website on Dec 8.

Through an ultrasound scan, doctors at the emergency department discovered that her right kidney was swollen with fluid and had kidney stones in it, the article said.

A CT scan revealed that the stones were about 5mm to 2cm in size, it added, and her blood test showed an elevated white blood cell count.

The article said doctors gave her antibiotics, drained the fluid from her kidney and performed minimally invasive surgery to remove more than 300 kidney stones that looked like “small steamed buns”.

The patient’s condition was stable after the operation and was discharged after a few days of observation, it added.

Dr Lim Chye-yang, the urologist who performed the surgery, said 9.6 per cent of the people in Taiwan may develop kidney stones in their lifetime, and men are more than three times as likely to develop stones than women.

The so called MACAU scam explained

First of all, this is nothing to do with MACAU. and the media should stop using this phrase. Phone scam has been long evolved to be much more sophisticated.

Is it true all teachers are so rich? losing millions in scam on weekly basis. One thing that is certain is they are not smart to be fallen into such trap.
In fact, it is because teachers are poor hence they are the prime target for scammer.

How scammer find target
Scammer will post instagram, facebook, tik tok to promote "earn easy money part time". Teacher will get attracted to this post and apply. Scammer will ask teacher to lend their bank account, and they will get fixed payment of maybe RM200-1000 monthly.
Scammer will use this bank account as money mule, and there will be various transaction happening in the bank account.

How scammer scam teacher
After teacher happily earned "fixed income" for few months. Scammer will begin their main scam. They will impersonate police or LHDN and call teachers by suspecting them to be involved in money laundering. Teachers of course panic, and will follow the instruction by the "police" and transfer the money to another bank account for safe keeping, and was warned of severe consequence if didn't follow instruction. After teacher banked in. the "police" will gone with the wind. At this point, teacher will realized that they are being scammed after failing to contact the "police" any further.

Few days later, Scammer will ask teachers how come the money in bank account is gone. teachers unable to answer. Scammer will then threaten the teacher to return the money or become their slave. If teacher can't return the money, they will need to perform work for scammer, illegal work.
Scammer know you will not report to real police because you're already involved in money laundering. Those that can't take it, will still go to balai police to surrender despite knowing they are involve in money laundering.
