I am currently looking for air-con for my new house. One of my air-con contractor strongly recommend LG, say its good and reliable. Need some feedback from existing LG user here for reference. Really worry that purchase a wrong brand and ending up suffering.

Dear all,

Just got this quotation from one of my electrical contractor. Really appreciate input from member here is the proposed price reasonable as per market price?

1. Wiring air conditioning or water heater point with conceal wiring PVC piping and “Clipsal” pilot light switch. @RM 120.00
2. To wiring 13 amps power point concealed with “Clipsal” 13 amps switch socket. @RM60.00
3. To loop wiring and install lighting. @RM40.00
4. To install ceiling fan. @RM 130.00

Dear all,

I was quoted by this contractor for my house Electrical points. Really appreciate some help from you all guys to feedback is the price as per market price or on the high side. Many thanks in advance.

1) Lighting Point / looping = RM 45.00 / point
2) New Plug Point = RM 80.00 / point
3) Point relocation = RM 50.00 / point

Secondly, my 'Plaster Ceiling' contractor quoted me RM 2.60 / sq-ft? I think its on the high side, what do you all think? By the way what is the market price for L-Box?

Last but not least really appreciate any feedback and it will be great if you have any superb contractor to introduce. [U]

Frankly Speaking I notice the furniture pricing in 'Central' is way on the high side . I decide to source it from my home town in Ipoh, (eg. a resonable quality leather sofa in central will simply set you back for 7 - 8k; i get mine, personally i think its way better quality for only 4.5k (3-2-1 set) & 4 1/2' Marble Dining Table c/w 6 seats for 3.5K)

Display Blackout

Dear all,

Appreciate to have some input here, I just bought a Sapphire HD4670 512mb DDR4, installed and run ok but I start to experience frequent display black out (not 'Blue Screen') issue where it seems no signal to my lcd display out of a sudden. In order to make good, i need to restart my whole PC.

Just wander any friend here would know what is the problem I am experiencing here?

Would it be my insufficient power supply? Using 450W power supply now with 3 HDD and other common acc.

Or, is the Display Card itself having problem.

My PC spec is :-

Pentium 4 3.0Ghz socket 775
2gb DDR400 Ram
80gb HDD
320gb HDD
500gb HDD
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy
Dell 19" LCD Display

Any body here can help to shed some light to my problem?
