So I'm buying multiple items to build a keyboard from 3 sellers. According to the sellers ( I asked them about the weight) my total parcel weight should be 2kg or lesser. So for consolidation shipping is cainiao (the default forwarder) the cheapest forwarder compared to others?

Or are there cheaper options (if like combine all the extra costs)? also if go through agents, they generally costs more right? I don't mind waiting long not urgent really.

I also heard that I can avoid paying sst (sales tax) and customs even if it's over RM500 if use air freight so can avoid tax unlike sea freight, is that true?
Anything else I should be wary on?

Also why can't I purchase this keycaps by air freight if not then have to use sea freight dyy.

Think I kena scammed, what to do?

Help! 15" Macbook Pro 2012 under performing

I'm on high sierra, would updating to mojave help solve the issue? Because when compared to others their score seems to be around 550cb+ and OpenGL 45 fps+ in Cinebench R15.

When using Intel Power Gadget, Max CPU temps is 81 and Core Frequency Max 1.4 Ghz. The score I got was only 227-247

I upgraded the ram to 16gb and the ssd a 256gb 840 evo last year. And recently I changed the thermal paste too and made sure I did it correctly and dusted out the fans.

Tried to do smc reset, pram reset also cannot , same score.

Buying from ebay / importing question

So I'm looking to buy a used / refurbished Macbook Pro 2015 15" from ebay from the US because locally the prices still remain stubbornly high. However I have a few questions, so if anyone who has experience importing/buying from ebay, would appreciate any help .

At the checkout page I was able to load my Maybank debit card (so I presume I'll be able to use this card), then it gave me 2 options of exchange rate to use, Paypal and Maybank's. Which offer the better rate and if use Maybank's will they further charge any service charge? But is worth using debit card over paypal?

If import what are the extra charges customs will charge?

What is the cheapest forwarding service in Malaysia? And is using the forwarding service cheaper than what ebay quoted me (like the International Priority Shipping) ?

Anything else I need to beware of? or other suggestions?
