Anyone staying in Casa Subang?

Would like to know if anyone here's staying in Casa Subang. I'm interested in purchasing a unit for investment as it's very near Segi college and it seems to be aimed at Monash students as well.

Any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

[Streamyx] Odd problem with connection

Hi folks,

Been having this really strange prob with Streamyx lately.

I get connected fine (although it'll take a couple of tries; I'm using Linksys router BEFW11S4 and Kasda modem) and I can ping the DNS server 202.188.0.133 w/o any timeouts.

Problem happens only when I start to download stuff. Downloading from a local mirror (http://mymirror.asiaosc.org/ @ 202.190.100.72), the speed shoots up to 100+K/s for the first couple of seconds. BUT after that, it goes downhill. It even stops downloading after 1 minute. I'll have to restart the download. There are no ping timeouts to that server as well.

Any idea what's wrong? Not sure if this helps, but I'm in USJ. The stupid ADSL light also blinks once in a while

Personal equipment
Modem: Kasda
Router: Linksys BEFW11S4
Firewall used: None

Problem details
First occurence of problem: 2 weeks ago
Problem frequency: Everyday since then
Problem description: Get connected, but doesn't stay connected for long. I can d/l stuff from HTTP. But for the first 2-3 seconds, it's fast. After that, the speed goes down to 11k from 40+k. After that, it just dies. I've checked that the modem DSL light is stable. Anyone having the same problem?
