In FB “sponsored post” saw a gimbal 3 axis on sale for “limited time” at RM195, usual price RM4xx

Seller said just key in name, address & tel no & can COD. So limpeh meh key in lor..wahhh...2 days later arrive liao..they sent by DHL sibeh high keras. COD to the DHL fello. Lucky limpeh at home to receive & pay. I asked can open then pay or not but he said can’t coz if I reject after opening, he will have to pay. OK la..kecian..limpeh feel from outside box (small box not hard pack) but feels more like a selfie stick than gimbal.

I told the DHL boy to return. Checked FB again, many sohais were scammed & really they received ordinary selfie stick rather than gimbal.

Mohamed Salah's injury in the Champions League final was punishment from God for breaking his Ramadan fast, an Islamic preacher has claimed.

The Liverpool forward was forced out of European football's showpiece event last weekend just 30 minutes into the game.

A tussle with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos left the Egyptian with an injured shoulder, which could rule him out of the World Cup in Russia this summer.

Muslim's are allowed to break their fasting for travel purposes.

But Kuwaiti preacher Mubarak al-Bathali says Salah sinned by breaking his fast for the match, rather than the journey from Britain to Ukraine, which was "not a legitimate excuse".

Salah initially claimed that he was going to continue fasting in the build-up to the Champions League final.

"God punished him," he wrote on Twitter.

Al-Bathali claims that Salah was poorly advised and added: "Unfortunately, [he will] bear the burden."

PETALING JAYA: PAS has clarified that they were only satisfied with the rationalisation plan put forward to solve 1MDB’s debt woes, but were never happy with the alleged misappropriation of funds at the state investment arm.

The Islamist party said this following a tell-all by the new Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief today.

PAS also reiterated that they still felt a Royal Commission of Inquiry was needed to investigate the scandal.

“When PAS said it was ‘satisfied’, it meant we were pleased with 1MDB CEO Arul Kanda’s rationalisation plan for the state investment fund.

“We still maintain our call for an RCI,” the party’s information chief Nasruddin Hassan told FMT.

Last year, PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man was reported as saying that the party was satisfied with the explanation given by Arul Kanda on 1MDB’s debts and the company’s rationalisation plan. This drew harsh criticism.

Tuan Ibrahim later explained that just because the party was satisfied with the rationalisation plan, it did not mean it was satisfied with the alleged misappropriation of funds involving the company.

Earlier today, new MACC chief commissioner Mohd Shukri Abdull lifted the lid on the 1MDB saga, claiming that Najib Razak’s administration had gone after him in an attempt to stop him from talking about the investigation and that he had met the Conference of Rulers to inform them about the case.

Beggars in JB earns more than national average

JOHOR BARU: The generosity of city folk here when approached by beggars has allowed some of them to earn as much as RM300 daily, and up to a staggering RM10,000 per month.

Due to the lucrativeness of their activity, the beggars go all out to escape regular Social Welfare Department (JKM) crackdowns by staying one step ahead, always shifting their “place of business” or operating at erratic hours.

Their main congregation point, however, appears to be traffic lights at busy intersections in the city.

"They carry out their activities at traffic lights because they are able to earn more money (while the lights are red), and it is easier for them to flee when they see enforcement vehicles (which cannot reach them in time due to) traffic congestion,” said JKM Johor Baru officer Normawarni Mahat, adding that many rescued beggars are found to have been earning up to RM300 a day.

Among beggars rescued in recent months here are two Rohingya women in their 30s, four children aged between 6 months and 3 years, and a disabled man from Vietnam.

God tried to open airplane door

A female passenger was detained after she attempted to open the cabin door midair on SkyWest Airlines flight 5449 from San Francisco to Boise, Idaho, on Monday.

Passengers subdued the woman, who has not yet been identified, and held her down before she managed to cause disaster, reported local news. In a video taken by a passenger with a cellphone, two men can be seen restraining the woman and pinning her to the floor as she thrashed around and screamed, "I am God, I am God, I am God."

“I could see her laying on the floor,” Scott T. Smith, the passenger who was seated behind the women, told the Idaho Statesman. He claims he also saw someone laying on top of her or holding her down. He added: “The flight staff were real calm. Everyone on the flight was quite calm.”

According to Smith, the women and her traveling companion, who was seated next to her in first class, both seemed noticeably apprehensive. “She wasn’t acting right, or normal, from the very beginning [of the flight]... I read it as: One of them is trying to get over the fear of flying… I could tell that one or both were uneasy with flying.”

Danny Torres, another passenger on the plane, told KTVB that the woman started screaming shortly after the flight took off before running to the cabin door.

"The pilot came on the loudspeaker and told us to 'stop her at all costs' from opening up the door," he recalled.

Torres claimed another passenger then charged towards the woman, threw her to the ground and zip-tied her hands and feet together.

Authorities at the Boise airport reported the “unruly passenger” to the police, and when the aircraft landed, the woman was detained at the Boise airport gate before being released to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to be examined.

SkyWest spokesperson Layne Watson said in a statement: “SkyWest flight 5449, operating as United Express from San Francisco to Boise, landed safely in Boise after reports of a customer attempting to open the aircraft door. The customer was restrained and law enforcement officials met the flight at the gate, where all passengers safely deplaned. The unruly customer was held for questioning by law enforcement.”

Haley Williams, a Boise police spokeswoman, said no one was hurt during the incident, but the woman had been sent to a medical examiner and could be facing charges that have been routed to the Ada County prosecutor's office to be approved, reported KTVB.

There are no leads on why the woman tried to open the door mid-flight; however, Williams confirmed that the FBI is also investigating the event.
