It is a sad reality that many Malaysians rather purchase foreign products instead of local goods.
A vast proportion of middle class citizens believe that using imported goods will automatically elevate their social status.
In fact, even the few who are using local products do so because they have no other option.

Honestly, we as Malaysians should support our local brands and products...!!

The story:
My flight back to Malaysia was not exactly uneventful.
Aside from the 30 minute delay, a last minute gate change also added to the frustration of the passengers.
Nevertheless, it was just a minor inconvenience and to me there was no need to get upset over it.

Apparently, not everyone shared this feeling.
One of the passengers on board the flight was literally furious.
She yelled at the poor AirAsia staff who was scanning her boarding pass.
To make matters worse, she was also very rude to the stewardess and passed derogatory remarks about the airline personnel.
Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.

Conclusion:
Always be polite and treat others with respect.
Don't let a small, insignificant issue ruin your entire day.

Many people have this 3M mentality deeply ingrained in their minds and yet they always come forth with countless financial woes.

They fail to realise that this 3M mentality is the main obstacle to happiness and abundance in their life.

Electricity bill...!

As you can see from the above table, our home electricity bill is a mere Rm 250 - 300 per month...!!

This does not seem to match our rather excessive use of electricity:
- Two airconds ( 2hp and 1.5hp ), two medium sized fridges and one small fridge running 24/7.
- Additionally, another 3 airconds ( 1hp ) are switched on every night.
- Two LED TVs that are usually switched on in the evenings.
- Three water heaters with pump and one thermo pot in the kitchen.
- Not to mention the 160 LED light bulbs ( yes I counted them ) throughout the house...!!

When I asked around, I realised that other households which are quite thrifty with their power consumption still pay around Rm 200 ++ a month...
Infact, some have even insinuated that my dad is stealing electricity...!!

How is it possible...??
Are the LED bulbs really that effective in saving power...??

Btw, mind sharing your home's power consumption and approximate electricity bill...??
