Need advice on having a video voting webpage

Ultimately all I can imagine is a landing page with a few videos for 14k traffic to vote. I think to have an open source web app to do it is just too much for this temporary usage.

Each person vote only 1 time per video, no unvote allowed. An ID is used to distinguish the unique person. Probably a JS prompt to input ID before head to landing page?

I plan to host in Nginx and Mongodb for better performance looking at the 14k traffic demand. Any sifu can advise better?

How recover External HDD data

Dear All tech savvy sifu,

Recently I plug in my hdd into my brother PC, detected RAW right away. As I got no time to google it, I put it aside for a few months.

Now that I tried to plug in to my PC, in disk management it says unknown and not initialized. Tried TestDisk and MiniToolPartitionWizard but could not detect disk. The only way i can see it is from diskpart but when I select disk and 'detail disk', CMD error occured and required to close or restart program.

Truly appreciate any master here can share some advice. Warmest Regards.

MySQL attempts to connect to Apache

Summary: Established Apache in DMZ, MySQL in Corp and open only Random_port -> 3306 from source=Apache[DMZ] to destination=MySQL[Corp] in DMZ:Corp firewall
Alert: Security team notified that MySQL:3306 attempt to connect to Apache:Previous_random_port_connection
Specs:
- Apache and MySQL installed in Hyper-V Windows 2012 Standard connected via Palo Alto Firewall
- Both isn't independent but XAMPP

GXFC to all sifu. Referring to the above situation, what are the possibilities that the MySQL will attempt to establish the connection back to Apache? Could it be TCP setting, network equipment features on checking packets, MySQL setting, Application coding or others? Please assist to advice, thanks in advance to all sifu here.

Hi to all sifu, yesterday Im going to play dota2 the steam game, as I go in, it says connecting to dota2 network. Such problem occurs a few times before. So I have to restart my steam apps to fix it. As I pressed the quit button right before the confirmation message pop out, the screen suddenly pixels dissolved and pc turned off itself. As I start the pc, the bios screen bugged with scattered blue short dotted line and when It's going to load the windows, the mouse pop out and pc hanged. Thus the windows cant be loaded. I tried unplug all 3 HDD and run, the bios screen still bugged but screen ok when go into the bios setup. I just clean my pc 6months ago so definitely it's clean, I even renew the thermalpaste. Now I dont understand why the temperature stay max at 50 in bios, cpu fan 2k rpm (unusual), bios screen bugged, and cant start windows..

PC can't be booted

My RIG spec as same as the one stated in my signature. Bought on 2009 valentines day up until now. Since 2days ago, my pc hardly can be booted. Everytime I start my pc, my fans - lights - HDD - PSU works well. 1 thing that is there is no visual. BIOS doesn't show up. Keyboard did blink its light as usual. No matter how, monitor doesn't appears a single thing and after i started it, I can't ping my static ip from my fren pc. Perhaps CMOS out of battery? Seniors do please advice me. I'm in my studies, without pc will definitely ruin my life..

Merging Health System and Health Boot?

Hi all,
Is there any one who know how to combine the Health Boot and Health System into 1 partition? Recently mine is seperated, supposedly I want them both in F(Disk1) rather than in C(Disk0) or separated both of them in two disk(which is shown in the picture). My purpose to do so, is to remove my Disk0 to plug in my friend HDD.

Can't boot pc after the third hdd connected

For explanations,
I've bought a new HDD C with 1TB. My main HDD A and HDD B works fine. Yesterday, I've unplugged the power supply-SATA converter for HDD A and put it on HDD C since my HDD A windows system corrupted, still works fine. In the morning, I've just bought another new converter to plug it on HDD A and it's the last power supply cable that is available from the power supply. After I plug it on HDD A, I tried to start it.

For the first time, somewhere near my motherboard LED zap once and couldn't boot. I tries switch off and switch on back and press start again but still can't boot the pc. I've done this step for a few times even I've tried to unplugged the new converter and plug it back on HDD A. I still can't think of the problems I'm facing.

Now I've unplugged the new converter for HDD A and use only HDD B and HDD C. The zap sound only appear for the first time I boot the pc and the converter for HDD C is originally from HDD A. What makes my pc can't boot right after the new converter had been plugged on HDD A? Now I'm using temporary windows system installed on my HDD C (1TB,my BIOS support it so BIOS wouldn't be the problem). Anyone know what is the causes of this kind of problem? =( Though my HDD A and HDD B is WD Blue color 320GB and 500GB each and my HDD C was WD Green color.. But I don't think that the color matter..

How to recover P/S2 Keyboard drivers?

Hi,
Recently my 1year-old usb keyboard had malfunctioned and bought a new keyboard with p/s2 plug. After I have do whatever I can, it's found that previously my pc been attacked by virus, thus it can't detect(through devices manager) the p/s2 keyboard. I believed that those virus has wiped out my p/s2 keyboard drivers. The keyboard functioned from the moment I started my pc through BIOS and when comes to the windows login screen, the keyboard 'num lock' and other key were freeze.
Is the anyway I can recover this problem without formatting it? Install the p/s2 keyboard driver perhaps? Tried before, but failed to find any. Please help me! The 'On-Screen Keyboard' pissed me off unless I buy a new usb keyboard. Geez..

File Compression

Hi, I dont understand why half of my partition files auto compressed. I still have 145GB among 200GB, why this happened? If I do some disk cleanup, will the files be deleted?

System Unit sound and Transfered Data

Hi all, this few days when I start up my pc, some weird sound comes out from my casing fan which is located under the power supply, but once the windows loaded (desktop), the weird sound is gone. The picture that I had uploaded show the fan that I've mentioned. I wonder if anyone know y this happened and how to solve this?
Note : the black circle is the fan that I've mentioned and the red circle is the area that I touch it softly during the weird sound comes out, by doing this, I can avoid the noisy sound during start up.
Another question was being asked from my uni-mate, it sounds 'How do I check, how much bytes of data had been transferred/downloaded-uploaded from the first time the pc booted OR after login till now?'
Forgive me if there is any grammar mistake, if anyone doesnt understand my question, I may repeat it in a better way. =S

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Disconnected/Unable to connect to the router
Problem frequency: Approximately 10 minutes once
Problem description: Connection is okay at first, after around 10min the connection disconnected and cant be connected anymore. Therefore, I reconnect the wireless usb cable and its auto connect back. This problem repeated after around 10min I've connected the internet line. In my opinion, perhaps it is the cable problem? I need you all to give me an opinion. I knew that change it to LAN cable to connect the router can fixed the problem but I dont need that. Please advise me.
