Toshiba Satellite A200 motherboard

My sister bought her Toshiba Laptop Satellite A200 somewhere in march last year. It works fine before but lately it always turns off by itself after awhile. After checking other hardware, my mother's friend said the problem is probably due to the the motherboard.

Sad thing is, the shop where my sister bought the lappy has closed down and moved away (no idea where) and I'm not too familiar with laptops since I prefers desktop pc.

My questions :
Where do I get toshiba lappy repaired? (Obviously the warranty has expired).

How much would it cost and can I just buy the motherboard and hv my mother's friend put it back together?? (And of course, where can I get the hardware?)

Upgrade to Streamyx 4Mb Combo Package

I'm using Streamyx 1Mb line atm and the connection to international line has been ..bad. I was wondering if it was congested and thinking of upgrading to 4Mb line (the combo package).
Is this possible? How do I know if my area has 4Mb coverage? (I called 100 but the answer is rather vague... ) I read somewhere about it depends on how far am I from the DSLAM .. how do I check that?

I could go to TM Point or Clickers but hmm I prefer to ask around for more information before jumping in. Yes, I play online game and download alot
