Can my car be transferred without me knowing?

Hi,

I would appreciate if anyone could help me.

Two weeks ago I agreed for my mechanic to sell my car for me and he found a buyer already. Understandably he would get a share of the final sale price.

He paid me a 10% deposit on that day and he took my vehicle ownership document. The car was already with him prior to this. Supposingly by the end of this week he would settle the transfer and also pay me the remaining amount of money.

However, I am starting to get worried that he might actually change the ownership and not pay me the money.

Things he has, vehicle ownership document and the vehicle itself. He doesn't have my IC nor signature.

Is it possible for him to transfer without my knowledge?

Thank you.

Can cat scratch transmit hepatitis?

I was playing with a friend's cat and I got scratched. The spot was bleeding. The problem is the cat's owner is hepatitis positive and she was playing with the cat too!

I rushed home, washed the spot with soap and then applied generous amount of betadine in 10 mins.

I then went to the doctor and he told me there's no risk and send me home without any medication. Should I be worried and see another doctor?

Sale and transfer of privately owned business

Hi,

My relative is selling her business. It is a small business and deposit has been collected. Tomorrow the purchaser and her will go to SSM to transfer the ownership. Before that they will go to the bank together where the purchaser will buy a bankers cheque. And he will hold it till the ownership transfer is done where the cheque will be passed to my relative.

Is there anything that my relative should be cautious about? Is there any possibility she becomes a victim of fraud or that the purchaser is able to cancel the bankers cheque?

Thanks in advance.
