Not sure about the gloss black on the center console. But overall, good for Proton on making an aging car look not so old and adding a few nice touches like that armrest.

Notice that the letter at the bottom of the gear knob looks more like an "S" than an "L". Could be a sign that it uses a 4AT like the Saga which has a P-R-N-D-S pattern instead of P-R-N-D-L of the CVT.

Best guess is....it's basically similar in specs to the Redmi Note 10 Pro but with an overclocked former flagship chipset. Let's hope the IPS screen rumors are false since the midrange already got 120hz OLED.

Sounds kinda like a lower revving Nissan VQ motor. Probably the first few of its kind to receive these modifications.

If you think about it, a 3-cylinder engine is basically half a V6 so that somewhat explains the similar sound.

2021 Proton Persona - One last facelift?

We all know the usual bumper engineering yada yada.....but look closely at the dashboard......the changes are considerably more major than initially expected.

Other tweaks include the bumpers(obviously), darker taillights, larger 16" alloys and supposedly new digital aircon controls a la Myvi and revised speedometer.

Whether they upgraded the safety like adding AEB or altered the power train by using a normal AT gearbox remains to be seen, but the obvious changes does seems to breathe new life to an aging design before an all-new model is released.

All previous spyshots were fakes but this one is guaranteed 100% real just by looking at the signal stalk position with the word "TRIP" being on the left. This appears to be a mid spec model judging by the black leather interior and digital gauges. The infotainment is the latest version of GKUI with a larger 10.25" screen compared to the X70's 8". Rumors so far that there will be 3 variants powered by the 1.5T as the only engine choice.

Something about this front end looks really familiar

Engine will be a 1.8T+7DCT making 181hp/300nm. Don't know how the inside looks like but supposedly will receive a new steering design, larger 10.25" infotainment screen and a new digital speedometer as well.

TL:DW PH got the newer model and hybrid but we get better safety equipment and voice command if that's important.

Many complain X70 FC is so so but maybe this 1.5T mild hybrid can solve that and bring back AWD. Who knows, have to wait next year when they inevitably facelift the car.

Doesn't sound like a typical large displacement American V8 and more like a 458 or McLaren. Rumors are that the engine will be a 4.4l flat plane crank V8(same type of engine design as the exotics) with twin turbos pushing out almost 700hp.

The normal C8 is already insane, this one will be psychotic and much cheaper than felali. Chevrolet knows how to make a poor man's supercar.

If you malas baca, here got TL:DR summary

- 1.8T paired with 7DCT gearbox, engine now has 15nm more torque(300nm) and DCT is backed up with 5 years unlimited mileage warranty

- Faster 0-100kmh(9.5 vs 10.5 sec) and fuel economy (7.5 vs 7.8l/100km)

- Power tailgate on Exec and Premium (foot sensor opening for Premium)

- Two new color options, one of which is Ruby Red

- Ventilated front seats which direct cold air onto your back and bottom(Exec and Premium)

Price dunno yet, but likely gonna be retained from CBU

So let's say Proton wants to further modernize the Campro VVT engine instead of killing it off entirely, how feasible would it be to add new tech and materials to make it even more efficient than it is now in order to save development costs and not having to rely on Geely as much for power trains and whatnot.

Like making the engine all-aluminium, dual VVT, higher compression ratio and adding start/stop as an option paired to more efficient gearboxes. How would some of these new features affect the architecture of the current iron block, single VVT design that they're using now.

Basically, can Proton throw money at it to fix some of its glaring issues, namely weight and fuel efficiency. Noob question, jangan kecam.

Air yg sedap-sedap pun mustahil hanya bancuh dengan sesudu gula, entah berapa sudu dia letak untuk bagi sedap di tekak kita. Sebab tu kalori segelas air manis boleh cecah hampir sama dengan sepinggan nasi. Kebanyakan air manis tiada nutrisi langsung. Membazirnya..

Jangan membazir kalori. Anggap kalori ni macam duit kita. Kita keluarkan duit, mestila nak barang yg berkualiti. Sama juga macam kalori, kita korbankan kalori yg perlu dibakar dengan makanan yg bernutrisi tinggi - barulah berbaloi!
