I am about to buy my first video cam and having done some research, It seems that for HD video cam, it&#39;s best to go for those using tape media, hence a HDV cam. But so far, I have not seen a model that has an optical zoom of more than 10x. So, my question is, are there any model out there that has more than 10x optical zoom and is HDV?<br /><br />I was in this shop asking the seller, and he gave me a typical malaysian style sales service...&quot;all hvd cam like that wan la...&quot; then I ask for a demo, to see if it is good, then he told me..&quot;see the price tag, price ok for you? if later you don&#39;t want then waste my time doing demo for you...&quot; well, I walk off and never look back.
