Non-mainstream manga recommendation

hi /k. i always love manga,but i get bored easily reading your typical mainstream shonen jump manga. generally, i like seinen,slice of life and contain some mature element(not hentai,smuts those kind of thing ),those that contains a lot of general information and knowledge is an additional plus. I on semester break and kinda bored atm, can you guys recommend me some good hidden gems manga?
here my list of recommendation:

1.Yokokuhan (Prophecy)

Description: The anti-cybercrime section of Tokyo is on the edge. A man wearing a newspaper mask posts videos online predicting the worst crimes: rapes, assaults, fires...The twist? The day after, his prophecies have been completed on the front of the TV news. Who is he? How does he do this? What are his motivations, his ambitions?
It's the start of a race against time which leads the inspectors to an empty seat in a cybercafe in the outskirts of Tokyo... But while the investigation is blocked, the popular support grows around this mysterious figure. Dropouts, employees tyrannized by their hierarchy, web users accustomed to chat and forums discussions: more and more are finding themselves included in his fight!

3.Shinya Shokudou (Midnight Dinner)

Description: A manga that revolves around an old-fashioned all-night food stall, the various dishes that the stall owner prepares to suit the tastes of different customers, and the joys, griefs, trials and tribulations of his faithful patrons.

Additional Information:Adapted in drama,currently in season 3,recently a movie based on drama was released (the adaptation is very good, i personally enjoy the drama more than the manga).

4. 87 Clockers

Description: Kanade Ichinose is a violin major in his third year of college. When he first entered the university, everyone had high hopes for him, from his professors to fellow students. However, he distances himself from everyone and everything except music. He refuses to participate in competitions, as he see no point in it. When it comes time to think what he wants to do with his life, he just eases into his mother's music tutoring business. He realizes that he is a boring and pessimistic guy but has no idea how to change... or what to change into. Then, one day he sees a girl standing barefoot in the snow outside an apartment and thinks, "If it's for her, I can change."
This is the story of Kanade's entry into the world of Overclocking.

5. Uchuu Kyoudai (Space Brothers)

Description: It is the year 2025, and NASA has announced the crew members–including Japanese astronaut Hibito Namba –of the first mission to live on the moon for an extended period. Meanwhile, in Japan, Hibito’s auto designer older brother Mutta Numba is despondent after losing his job. Although the two brothers have followed vastly different paths, their respective destinies begin to move and merge as the result of a vow they exchanged as boys.
Note: Has been nominated twice for the Manga Taishō in 2009 and 2010. Won the award for best general manga at the 56th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2011, at the Kodansha Manga Award (shared with March Comes in Like a Lion) in 2011 and it won the Tezuka Osamu Readers' Award in 2014.

5. Billy Bat

Description: Billy Bat is a comic-in-a-comic and the real protagonist is a Japanese-American artist named Kevin Yamagata who draws Billy Bat for "Marble Comics".
Shortly after they transition to the artist in his studio with his assistant, two actual detectives, who look like Laurel and Hardy in Dick Tracy era suits and trench coats, knock on the door and appropriate Kevin's room for the purpose of conducting surveillance on a room in an adjacent building. One of the detectives, the skinny “Laurel”, sees Kevin's work and it turns out he's a Billy Bat fan. The other chubby "Hardy" detective picks up a page and says that the characters look familiar and accuses Kevin of translating an old "Jap" comic.
As Hardy remembers the comic he thinks Kevin is ripping off, we make another Urasawaesque time jump to 1949 Tokyo...

Adi Putra, the forgotten child genius

Some years ago, child genius Adi Putra Abd Ghani made waves with his speed and skill at solving mathematical problems at a tender age.

Now 16, Adi is still pursuing his mathematical passion locally and overseas – but on his own, a forgotten genius let down after various promises made to him by the Federal government fizzled out.

Crowned the Islamic Mathematician of the century by the Riau University in Indonesia in 2009, Adi had produced 235 mathematical formulas and published 12 of them in a book titled "Seni Matematik Islam" (The art of Islamic Mathematics).

His book is used as a reference for primary and secondary students in Brunei, but has not gained recognition in Malaysia.

"I launched the book at the International Book Festival in November 2011 at the Putra World Trade Centre.

"After that I used the book to teach in Brunei. The government there had adopted this book as a reference book for their students," he told The Malaysian Insider at his home in Tanjung Malim, Perak, recently.

"I am quite disappointed because if possible, I would like to share this knowledge with my own countrymen. That is the priority. The problem is when decisions are made by people at higher levels," he said.

"When I teach in schools, I use the book for motivation. The feedback from teachers and students has been really good. It makes them more interested in Mathematics," he added.

Still actively giving lectures on the subject, Adi said he used to feel like a "guinea pig" for the government's education development programme.

But it was his experience under a government programme for child geniuses where he tasted the disappointment of unfulfilled promises, he said.
"I was like a guinea pig. That's what I feel about what happened because I was promised a module for child geniuses.

"I was six years old then. In the morning I went to the International Islamic School – studying Year 5 for Science, Year 6 for Mathematics and Year 3 for English. This went on for a year," he said.

In the afternoon, he would attend classes at the International Islamic University (UIA) to study A-Level Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Additional Mathematics.

This resulted in him stopping school halfway to focus on the A-Levels. He completed the school-leaving qualification but was never issued a certificate by the university, on grounds that at age 6, he was too young.

Adi, whose ambition is to build a satellite, said that he no longer wants to remember that period.

"I have plenty of history with the government. I am tired of it now."

Adi is currently working to save money and is looking for a sponsor to further his studies. His wish is to enroll in Monash University in Australia where there is a programme for child geniuses.

He also wants all his 235 mathematical formulas to be validated by the academic world some day.

The teenager also said he had a unhappy experience in entrepreneurship when he tried to commercialise a stress-relieving supplement which was accused of containing steroids, despite it passing laboratory tests at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

"I tried several times to gain approval from the Health Ministry but it never happened. Then I met ministry officials who then dropped the steroid claims, but said I never obtained approval to sell the product," he said.

"A week later, they gave approval. The product is still selling today but the whole episode has affected its image," he added.

He said it was high time Putrajaya developed a plan for nurturing child geniuses to stem the brain drain and outflow of skilled labour and knowledge from the country.

"At Nasa (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), there are many Malays. Even in leading universities, many lecturers and students are our people.

"The problem is, why are they abroad? We need to have a module for geniuses. Not for a few but for many. Everyone has their own talent," he said, adding that his friends overseas had told him of Malaysians working in high technology sectors abroad.

"Foreigners appreciate these talents. They see the ability of these Malays and they are offered jobs paid in US dollars. They are given funding.

"If we go on like this, we will never manage to gather a group of experts in Malaysia, be it in Science or Mathematics," he said.

"Money is not the main reason for them refusing to come back. Many of them still have the Malay spirit. But why return to a place where they are not appreciated?"
