Nosy neighbour on pregnancy pantang larang

Today, I hired a few indon workers from renovation site opposite my house. Offered them to remove a dead tree outside my house. Tree is dead for 2 years.

After they starts chopping. My neighbour came out and tell me the pantang larang and i should not remove the tree. My wife is 7 months due and will be my first baby. Wtf knnccb.. Suddenly, I feel very uncomfortable.

By the way, my neighbour is friendly but at same time nosy. Once a while will give keh poh chi views on my stuffs that I dint ask for any opinions.

So what type of pantang larang or shitty neighbours you have?

How do I unsubscribe my spotify premium from Hotlink?
I cannot find any link to do it. The message (below) link does not link to any unsubscribe website.

p/s, I am in overseas country thus not able to connect to Hotlink network. I am also do not intend to subscribe internet subscription which will allow me to enjoy free renewal. I just want to unsubscribe and resubscribe family plan myself.

Duty Exemption - Changi to Johor

Are Malaysians who are purchasing liquor and ciggy at duty free shops at Changi Airport, Singapore will be exempted from duty when they cross border to Johor?

Assuming they are Johorean and their flight landed in Changi. They cross border to Johor within the same day.

Some said this is illegal, other said no problem. From Malaysian's customs website, this seem legal.

Anyone with real life experience can share. thanks

Buying second hand brand new property

I found a 18X65 sq.ft property in Taman JP Perdana, Austin, Johor. The property is a second hand but brand new property, selling at RM295K with wire fencing + guard. Considering the price, it's cheap as nowadays, a 20x70 sq. ft property here cost around RM400K. The developer for this housing project went bankrupt few years back. It was then revived and the property is now completed. I am kind of worried there will be future problems.

Secondly, the property agent told me that I need to pay around 2.5% of total property value for SPA fees and another 1% for agent commission. That will cost me around RM10K. I read Agent Fee that the 1% should not be born by me. Is the agent taking advantage of me.

Besides these fee, what else of expenses should I know of?

Thirdly, I also found another property nearby the first one. Same size but different developer (better established developer than first one) with brick wall fencing + guard. This one is a new property and will be completed in 2014. It's selling at RM363K inclusive of SPA + stamp duty. My dilemma, how would you choose if you are me?

（吉隆坡15日訊）內閣今日同意，讓2005年起考獲一等或榮譽文憑的政府大學畢業生，把國家高等教育基金（PTPTN）貸學金轉為獎學金。

　之前僅有在2010年起大學畢業生才可享有這樣的待遇。

　房屋及地方政府部長拿督斯里曹智雄向《中國報》指出，內閣今日是在各部長的要求，以及高等教育部長的同意下，決定為這些學生捎來好消息，讓所有在2005年起畢業並考獲一等文憑的學生把貸學金轉為獎學金。

　“相信政府這項決定將會受到學生的歡迎。”

　早前，國家高等教育基金局主席拿督依斯邁賽益受訪時指出，截至去年12月31日，1萬1764名考獲一等或榮譽文憑的大學畢業生，可以把國家高等教育基金貸學金轉為獎學金，涉及款額高達3億3907萬令吉。

不必攤還

　他說，去年有5389名學生，申請將貸學金轉為獎學金不果，申請被拒原因包括他們是博士及碩士畢業生、獲得二等文憑，或是于2005年7月1日后至2010年1月1日前畢業的學生。

　首相拿督斯里納吉，提呈2010年財政預算案時宣布，考獲一等或榮譽文憑的當屆大學畢業生，可申請把國家高等教育基金貸學金轉為獎學金，不必攤還。

Translate: Chinapress quoted that Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Chor Chee Heung said that Cabinet had agreed to convert PTPTN loan for first class honor student into scholarship.

Those graduated from year 2005 onwards will be entitled to this offer.

PASIR GUDANG: Graduates who obtained first class honours before Jan 1,2010 can convert their National Higher Education Corporation (PTPTN) loans into scholarships.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said previously the loan conversion was only available to students who graduated after 2010 but the Government has decided to widen the scope for those eligible.

"The Government believes that students who studied hard should be rewarded and hence have decided to extend this offer,” he said at the launching of the new National Education Savings Scheme-i (SSPN-i) here.

Khaled said that following the decision, 4,430 eligible first class honours students or those with equivalent qualifications would benefit.

ASUS Laptop LCD Screen Yellowish

I recently sent my laptop for warranty claim on the faulty LCD. After getting the LCD and cable replacement, I noticed that white background is yellowish compared to my Dell Inspiron. I also plugged my laptop to an external Samsung monitor. The white screen is comparable to the Dell laptop.

What is the possible reason and what can I do?

Edited: My LCD screen issue is also called yellow tint issue found in Iphone. So, I can conclude my Dell Inspiron & Samsung monitor is having blue tint while my new LCD is yellow tint. Before I claim my warranty, my old Asus LCD is having blue tint. I know the difference between now and then because my ASUS laptop and Dell are always turned on side by side.

The yellow tint is annoying to me. It seems like Apple do replace for their customer. I am going to ask ASUS for a replacement tomorrow. Anyone experienced the same scenario?
