hello guys yesterday my pc refused to boot with "d6" debug code, according to motherboard manual, its a problem where motherboard cant detect the gpu. The weird part is, motherboard detect the gpu if put it in pcie 2.0 x8 slot. so i tried other gpu which is ati 6670 on pcie 3.0 x16 slot, it detects normaly, can boot into windows. again, i tried put 2 gpu, hd7770 on pcie 3.0 slot and hd6670 on pcie 2.0 slot with hdmi cable connected to hd7770 and surprisingly it boots! if i take out the hd6670, it will give d6 error again. i tried upgrade bios to the latest and still got this problem. i need to determine which part is the problem for warranty purposes..

Need suggestion

its been a while since i visit hardware thread, so, i have no idea about hardware nowadays..right now im building casual gaming pc for my cousin, need to know the best spec with this amount of money i can get..

btw, after some research, i have the spec priced under 1.7k, but i need to know latest spec i can get..

first of all, i dont know where to post this problem as i cant find thread about hardware related..i just bought this bb from my fren , he told me that he din use blackberry desktop software for along time, so the usb port is solely for charging..when i try connect it to pc (win7 32bit) it show device not recognize.. in device manage it stated unknown device..ive tried all method available in net, change cable, change pc, uninstall usb driver and bla bla bla, still not working..so i expect the hardware is broken, is there any way i can repair this my self? at shop how much they take for usb port problem?

p/s:rite now, its still can be charge through usb..

window 7 64 bit hang after log in into window

my spec

amd phenom 9500
3gb ram - 2 kingmax, 1 mushkin
780g mobo
hd4770
400w psu

installing does not counter any single prob, but when log in into window, after a while ( around 2 minutes) it hang, mouse cannot move,keyboard oso..same prob when im install win vista 64bit, my system cant support 64 bit?i believe phenom 9500 can support 64 bit..

using 32bit now, waste a stick of ram, as window dont use it..so stay with 3gb..

so...any solution?

anyone help me..i can feel electric flowing from my case, after trouble shooting, i found that it came from my psu and my lcd monitor through the vga cable, is my psu kaput ady?what wrong with my monitor?but all this weird problem gone when i bring back my pc to hostel..using cap ayam psu now, my cm psu left at home koz i tink it broken ady..any explanation bout tis prob..sorry lousy english, so sleepy, cant tink properly..

help with photoshop cs4 gpu acceleration on window

hello...anyone can help me with gpu acceleration when using adobe photoshop cs4 in window 7..currently, i don't feel any performance improvement, only performance drop..when moving a picture on A4 size canvas, it feel sluggish or could i say lag.even drawing a line it feel lag..am i set the gpu acceleration wrongly, or photoshop still dont fully utilize window 7?.. anyone can help me, got many designing project need to be finished..
