Agent of Car dealer refused to refund booking

Hi all /k here .

I felt cheated by this used car company which refused to refund my money .

Long story short , earlier this month i've decided to buy 2nd hand car,cheap one for commute to work .

Found the model , and went straight to the shop after work .

Given opportunity to test drive , i felt the car suits to my budget and willing to proceed with loans procedure etc .

So , i give rm500 of booking(as the agent relentlessly asked for) and mind you,fully refundable as he convinced me .

And this was 4/7 Wednesday evening,6pm .

Later next week Monday morning , i got a call from my boss , which im being relocated to JKT for 6 month , and in immediate effect (a week or so).

So i texted the agent , asking about the "how the loan goes " and he said he havent send my document yet .

Then , with my situation being relocated in immediate effect , i told him i want to cancel . And "fine" he replied . For refund , he asked me to send the original copy to the office . I send in the original copy to him that instant . And this was last 9/7 monday .

And everytime when i texted and asked about my refund , he'll say "let me call the bosss " and bullshit here somemore .

Today i text again he say the same bullshit .

Can /k give advice how i can get my refund in a way?Tho its 500 but its still something .

Hi all , as the topic suggests , my sis asking me to sambung bayar a car of her friend's ,whom finishing her studies soon in April .

About the car ,

Jazz Hybrid year 2014
Remaining loan RM54k
Mileage 40k
3 years warranty end already
Monthly rm920
Appearance-wise is already put tint , still fabric seat cover , accident free .

I've done a calculation,
if I took it,allround expenses would take around 2/3 of my salary . This includes sewa rumah,phone bills and ptptn .

Insurance+roadtax were recently renewed ,

I'm planning to reloan after this coming raya,but since this is my first car,then the insurance would be expensive(my friend said) .

The thing is,i don't know what is the (1)maintenance cost the warranty ended for service ,but the one for battery still left at 5 years (2)Insurance n roadtax renewal expenses for next year .

My work is all about web based application(and I got decent company laptop for it),but I realise my passion was into native mobile apps .

I did android before , and I never had chance to do iOS apps ever since .
