House flooded because of new development project

Dear experts

My townhouse was flooded recently due to the same developer is building a new condo project next door. For the first time in 15 years, my townhouse was immersed in 2 feet of rain water. Subsequent checks by our JMB office reveals that the on-going construction beside my townhouse has no proper drainage and this caused the flood water to enter my house. In addition, the new project damage our existing drain . I would like to hear from the experts here what is the best course of action as our JMB office is not helpfull . In addition, the local town council claimed the project next door was approved 2 years ago and they cannot do anything

Shall we sue the developer next door? Can someone recommend a good ligitation lawyer ? Again, our JMB office refuse to take the lead in suing the developer and the owners have to take matters into their own hands.

Can we approach the media to highlight this issue? How do we start to get the media's attention? Who should we contact?

Awaiting your expert advice

hi ,
I would like to check with the property experts here what is the significance of bank value? For example, it the bank value of a property is RM800K and the seller is willing to sell at RM 700K, does this means this property is a good buy?

How do we confirm the bank value of a particular property as I don't really trust the bank value information from property agents?

thank you

hi, I notice the property price in klang valley is slowly coming down thanks to the poor economic outlook for Malaysia and our political stability is also a big question mark lately. GST is also a factor as people has less money to spend . Do you agree with this observation? Of course I agree the new launching keeps on going up.
