[WTA] Change streamyx billing address

I'd signed up for a new package in February, and I haven't been getting any of my bills since then. Turns out that somehow, streamyx got my billing address wrong: there's no street number, and the word "jalan" occurs twice. (I'd checked the online copies of my bills. I was not amused when I found out.)

So, I'm going to TMpoint next week to change the billing address (and pay the bills at once). Thing is, the account is registered under my sister's name. And she's working, so she can't visit TMpoint on weekdays. Next weekend is a little too late, as my bill is processed on the 10th, and I don't want next month's bill to bear the same wrong address as my previous bills.

My question then is this: I should be able to perform this process if I bring along a signed authorisation letter from my sister and a copy of her IC, right? I was also thinking of bringing along my registration form, as proof that I'd put down the correct address when I'd signed up.

This probably sounds like a no-brainer question, but I just thought I'd make sure before I make a trip to TMpoint and get turned down on account of them not being able to process my request because I'm not the account holder.

Thanks in advance!

Can not get IP from PPPoE server

Broadband Provider
ISP/Package: streamyx's wireless package, 512kbps
Location: Johor Bahru, Johor
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes. A lot.

Personal Equipment
Modem: N/A. All I got upon setup was a grey box with wires running in and out of it.
Router: Linksys WRT54G
Firewall Used: Not too sure. Windows' default firewall, I suppose.

Problem Details
First occurence of problem: Tuesday, 7th April
Problem Frequency: I haven't been able to connect since then.
Problem Description: When I connect to the Internet via the router, the error message I get is "PPPoE authentication fail". And when I bypass the router and connect to the Internet using my laptop, the error message I get is "Error 691: The username and/or password is invalid on this domain". The thing is, I haven't changed any of my account details at all. I've called streamyx twice but I've gotten no follow-up from them.

ETA: Error 691's now a thing of the past. Now what I'm getting is - via the router - "Can not get IP from PPPoE server", and when I bypass the router, it's "Error 678: The remote computer isn't responding". The router lights are all stable. I've called streamyx about a zillion times, yet all they've done is give me more and more report numbers. Gaaaah.

Thanks!

Horror Films

Hello all!

I'm doing a research paper on trends in horror films (the increased violence, the "torture porn" genre, and remakes). I'm looking for opinions on them, so I made an online survey about it, which you can take here.

Please help fill it out if you're a fan of horror films, or films in general. I'm looking for about 100 respondents by the end of the next week (I'll post this elsewhere too, no worries), so it would be great if you could help out, and maybe get other people to fill it too.

Besides the survey, a discussion here would be good as well - like your opinions and thoughts about the subject matter beyond the survey questions.

Thanks so much!

ETA: Fixed the link! Thanks for pointing it out, rashonmyash.
