Memory problem

Hello, I have a question about the Modified Pages value on a Windows 7 system. Modified Pages seems to grow without bound after a few days of leaving the pc on until it hits the physical memory limit, then the system pretty much grinds to a halt due to low memory. Imagine booting win 7 at 35% RAM usage which increases to bout 70% at idle after 1 day and then 96% after bout 4-5 days

Any idea what's going on? Is there a way to remove cached memory without restarting? Or set some limits?

vista windows experience rating index problem

initially i had 2gb corsair twin2x 6400 ram, and vista gave a rating of 5.9 for memory index

but just today i installed another 2gb of the same kind, though different latency (6400C4) and vista decreased the rating for memory to 4.8.

i understand that vista 32bit doesn't support the entire 4gb, but a decrease in rating? wth

anyone got any opinion or idea what's going on?

I wonder what's the optimum temperature for the 8800GTX. according to the dual core center, the temperature at idle is around 65 degrees. Recently, I've been playing games like Medal of Honor Airborne, the temperature during gameplay increases up to 78 degrees.

Is it rather high at 78? what is the optimum temperature or the max it can go before it burns off
