My bf and I had been together since June. We both chatted about our previous relationships when we first started. He's had a few relationships but most were short ones, the longest was when he's around 20 which lasted 2 years. Thats the only one he introduced to his family before. For the others he didnt say how many he had and the details because according to him those girls werent serious in the relationships.

About me - a good girl since born and only been in 1 relationship before. That wasnt even an official one, because he couldnt let go of his ex broken up 2 years ago. I gave him 3 months and we went dating like normal, and at the end I was heartbroken I chose to leave. My thought was that if he really loved me he wouldnt be so indecisive and treated me like a spare tayar. He decided to accept the offer to switch to JB and never put me in his plan as well.

Now the thing is that my current bf hasn't thought of introducing me to his family, not even any of his friends. I've been planning outings with my friends and asked him to join and he did. I've also planned for a joint birthday party for my parents and invited him, but he suddenly said he need to attend a friend's bbq gathering. Sometimes he sent me home and my parents were anticipating him but he just left after making sure I got home. So I got quite disappointed and I knew my parents were the same too. When we went for a trip I posted some pics on fb but he didnt want me to tag him, reason being he didnt want anyone to stalk him. While I was really happy about our relationship and would like my friends to know too.

Last month I just changed my job from a 9-5 desk-bound job to an advisory / sales job. One day I was really stressful and he didnt text me for more than one day (we usually text every day) so my frustration exploded. I called him and he never reply nor return till next day 11am so I sent him a long harsh message. He replied in the evening saying he's been losing interest and reason he didnt intro was because he felt my job was not confirmed or secured yet and will see how after my 3-month training ends. I was at meeting when I got the msg, straight away my tears came down. I told boss got emergency and she let me leave halfway. I drove 40 mins to his house after telling him. We met and talked in my car. He said he didnt want both to meet parents first because his parents might question a lot about my job. He said he felt I was thinking too much and a 3-month rest period will be good for me so I can concentrate on my new career. He also taking up a new job requiring him to travel overseas often. I told him that his support was the most important for me especially during this hard time at new job, while sobbing. At last we agreed to continue.

Actually why I want to meet his parents and friends is because I feel this is an indicator of whether he is serious in committing in the long term. I know I might choose to break up if he still doesn't bring me to his family next year CNY, just like my previous relationship. Perhaps I was partly at fault on this, anyone enlighten me please. Tq!
