Cannot to internet

Hi All,

Been reading across the forum that powerline is better in terms of eliminating wifi signal blind spots compared to wifi range extenders. Plus I read that with powerline. I'd be able to take my hypptv box to my room so today I decided to get the tp link wpa4220kit. Literature and youtube videos says it's simple plug and play but it's almost 3 am but I still can't figure it out

After the initial pairing process however I am having some problem connecting to the internet both by wired and wireless. The Power, Powerline and Ethernet leds on the wifi AV500 plug is stable green while the wifi led is blinking green non stop rapidly. The powerline wifi signal is strong but when I connect to it it says "No internet, secured". And the ethernet connection says "Unindentified network. no internet".

On wireless setting accessed from web management I used :
Channel : Auto
Mode : 11bgn mixed
Channel Width : Auto
Ticked "Enable Wireless Powerline Extender Radio" and "Enable SSID Broadcast".

Are those settings selection the problem? If so. what are the correct settings I need to use for unifi? Anyone can advise what I am doing wrong?

Procedure to allow maid go back for vacation

Hope someone can advice.

My maid is asking for 1 month holiday to go back for her daughter's wedding, I want to allow her but not sure procedure for her to leave the country for the said period. Just in case, I want to ensure there is a record that I have released her temporarily and she is going back on her own accord. Her work permit expires about 2 weeks after she is to return.

Anyone has any idea?

My maid's passport is expiring soon, few months before her work permit expiry.

My question is, the insurance requirement is during passport or permit renewal?Can I renew her passport without this insurance? I.e buy the insurance when renew permit?

Voice calls can't hear on ear speaker

Hi fellas,
Hope y'll can help. Today my iphone 4 suddenly did not have any sound coming from ear speaker when I receive or make call. Only can hear when "speaker" is enabled. I tried plug in and out headphone jack, blow jack plug with compressed air but problem persists.

Any ideas?

Reboot after installing drivers

Hope sumone can help me.

I recently bought an asus k50in laptop with preloaded linux. Finally got to get rid of the linux and install windows xp but problem now I face is then after installation of drivers, when it prompt to reboot(and I do just that), it reboots but just stays like that(in black screen). It's been more than an hour now still nothing but funny thing though I notice that HD indicator still accessing.

What should I do?

Hi all,

I want to monitor my home using the DLink DCS 2121 IP cam I just bought. I can access the camera locally but can't seem to view it from the internet. I have already set up the virtual servers on my router for the IP camera but when I put the IP address for the IP cam under "Remote Address" at http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ using port 80, it says the port is closed for the IP. Tried to change the ports used to others i.e. 8080, 90 etc etc but to no avail .

Hi all,
Spent the last hour or so trying to set up this camera so I can view from internet. I can view the camera when I type ip directly into the browser but can't seem to view the camera thru the dynamic dns server(i.e. dyndns.com or dlinkddns.com-registered to both to no avail ).

I seem to be stuck at the dlink setup page at "dynamic dns setting".Everytime I put the password I used to register dyndns.com or dlinkddns.com, when I click "save settings", the password seem to change automatically to another password(10 characters). When I put 6 character password it change back to 10 and when I use 11 character password it also change back to 10. Anyone facing this same problem and have a solution for it?

04-05 Accord vs Camry

Hi all,

I am currently considering of buying a 2nd hand (i.e. 2004-2005) Accord or Camry but can't decide between the two.

As far as looks are concerned, I'd be happy with either although with a slight preference towards the accord. Price wise, from my research, seems camry is slightly cheaper so that's one plus point for the camry.

Hope the kind and knowlegable people here can put forward your experience so I can make an informed choice .
