Got their leaflet, am interested to try their powdered sun block
but anyone heard this brand before? Tried before?
It's newly introduced in Guardian
claimed to control shine, hydrate and not clog pores, no need take off with make up remover
but only SPF20, a bit low for us in malaysia

Yesterday i created a topic about a user PM-ed me his user id & password. I asked for the moderating team to ban this person because I've no idea what he's up to.
However this morning when I come check, the topic is missing. Can someone care to explain why is it missing? If the "wise one" decided that it's not proper to post it here, then at least send me a PM, let me know what's happening.

anyone experienced fire drill before?
my fren just called...she's running from 40+ floor down to the ground...
not sure fire drill or real fire...

last time when i was in uni...they had the fire drill 7am in the morning during winter time...
and u need to wait till everyone is out, name taken...then only can go back to the dorm.

Recently my fren keep on asking me to go navel piercing with her.
Felt a bit tempted but at the same time a bit nervous.

Any one done that before? Can share your experience?
How long does it take for the wound to dry up and recover?
What should and should not be done after the piercing?

Two hapless robbers in America, Matthew McNelly and Joey Miller, have been arrested with the “worst disguises ever” after trying to hide their faces with permanent marker pen.

McNelly, 23, and Miller, 20 were arrested by armed police in Carroll, Iowa, last Friday after witnesses reported seeing two men trying to break into an apartment with fake beards and "masks" scrawled on their faces.

Police responding to a call about the attempted burglary later pulled over a car matching the alleged suspects' vehicle.

When they stopped their 1994 Buick Roadmaster, bewildered police discovered the drunk hapless pair – nicknamed “dumb and dumber” – complete with makeshift disguises.

Police issued-mugshots of the pair show the black ink scribbles on their faces, in what some commentators described as “the worst disguise ever”.

"We're very skilled investigators and the black faces gave them right away,” local police chief Jeff Cayler told CNN.

"I have to assume the officers were kind of laughing at the time.

“I've never heard of colouring your face with a permanent marker."

He added: "They probably were just not thinking straight and figured we'll go out and scare the guy or whatever.

“[They were] being dumb and combine that with alcohol and it was the perfect storm.

"I've been chief here almost 25 years, been with the department 28½ years and I've seen a lot of things that make me laugh and weird things but this was probably the best combination of the two - strangely weird and hilariously funny all at the same time.”

He had earlier told Radio Iowa: “It's a little weird.

"I've been here long enough that I've seen a lot of things, but this one's a little different compared to most ... I mean, just the face thing is what sets it apart."

The men may have been under the influence of alcohol when they devised the idea for their disguises.

"For what it's worth, it appeared they had both been drinking quite a bit and maybe weren't thinking quite rationally," Mr Cayler said.

McNelly and Miller were each later charged with attempted second-degree burglary and released on bail after appearing at Carroll County Magistrate Court on Monday.

McNelly was also charged with drunk driving.

Lawyers for the pair declined to comment.

The pair are due back in court next month.

ENGLISH TO BE THE NEW OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF EUROPE

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English

spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as 'Euro-English'.

In the first year, 's' will replace the soft 'c'. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard 'c' will be dropped in favour of 'k'. This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome 'ph' will be replaced with 'f'. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent 'e' in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

replasing 'th' with 'z' and 'w' with 'v'.

I got one recently
there was a guy in my part-time class last semester who's somehow caught my eyes...
nerdy look....a bit like the 8TV IT guy...but i find him quite cute

but this semester....he doesn't come to class anymore...
anyway....i bumped into him surprisingly during a CNY dinner in the neigbourhood I'm living
we were sitting in different tables...so no chance to talk ...
while waiting for main courses....the organiser passed around the mic for us to introduce ourselves
(my neighbourhood has only 60+ houses like dat)
know what? to surprise me even more....he and his family are juz living opposite of my house....directly opposite...
( yes yes....i dun even know my neighbours)

as u read thru....u must be thinking it will be a good chance for me to get to know him rite? i tot so too
but after CNY...he disappear again, my mum said he moved out edi....for work convenience...

few days ago...i accidentally bumped into him again....
it was my first day for my new job....
saw him in the foodcourt at the ground floor of my office block...

INVESTOR ALERT: SC to block access to illegal investment scheme websites, investors urged to terminate accounts immediately
The Securities Commission (SC) today announced that it will be embarking on an exercise to block access to websites offering illegal investment schemes to the Malaysian public. This exercise will begin on 11 June 2007.

All existing investors to such schemes via the Internet are urged to withdraw their investments and terminate their accounts immediately. Investors will not be able to enter their accounts once access to the websites are blocked.

The SC is joining forces with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and CyberSecurity Malaysia to track, identify and block access to local and foreign websites promoting investment scams.

This latest measure by the SC follows a series of repeated warnings and investor alerts on illegal investment schemes. The SC has set up an internal taskforce and embarked on a comprehensive investor awareness campaign on internet investment scams. Despite repeated warnings, there are still people who continue to invest in these illegal investment schemes. Between April and May 2007, the SC has received around 720 enquiries and complaints relating to illegal internet investment schemes with some members of the public indicating that they have lost huge sums of money.

Illegal investment schemes promoted on the Internet are not licensed by the SC to provide investment advice that is related to securities or futures activities or carry out fund management activities in Malaysia . Members of the public are reminded that they should only invest with parties licensed by the SC to be accorded the protection provided under the securities laws.

Lists of companies and individuals licensed by the SC to engage in investment activity are available at www.sc.com.my . The SC website also provides a periodically-updated list of known companies and websites which are not authorised nor approved under the securities laws to deal in securities, provide investment advice and/or fund management services related to securities or futures. Investors are advised to check with the lists before investing with any parties.
