Hi everyone,

So I got my results, and I so sad that I miss an A* in FM by one mark. I got 89 only. After all the hard work, I find it very hard to accept this mark, because I just miss by one mark. So I would like to ask if anyone here have got the same result like me and if got hope to change it to 90.

Hi everyone

My grandma wants me to download for her the old HK Drama The Bund (1980) and The Bund 2. I think it's also known as Shanghai tan. Problem is I don't know how to read Mandarin words. English movies I can download easily through torrents, but HK drama I lost lah.

Please please can anyone help me? I really don't want to disappoint my grandma. Can anyone help me find a link?

Buddhist centre in Penang for youths

Hi, just wondering if there are any such centres on Penang island that have more young people. I am turning 19 and most of the Buddhist centres seem to have more older folks.

If got preferably the centre teaches Theravada Buddhism and in English. I don't know mandarin. I am in such a personal mess.

Need some opinions reqarding pre-u path

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I would just like some opinions and advice on choosing my pre-u path, because I'm in a dilemma right now.

I am currently studying A-Levels in Sunway from the Jan intake. Obviously preparing to go to English speaking countries lah. Took SAT earlier this year and got a decent but not terrific score in it. Then got 9A+ in SPM, so eligible for bursary. However, JPA changed the terms of its overseas scholarship, so competition for the 1000 places will be stiffer. I had also applied for the JPA overseas engineering scholarship, choosing Germany, and I recently found out I was accepted. So now comes the dilemma, accepting the scholarship and saving parents' money, hence kissing goodbye to dreams of studying in the US, or reject the scholarship and potentially cost my parents a bomb if I fail to secure a JPA scholarship offer.

So, any thoughts, advice or opinions anyone? Feel free to share. The more the better, because this decision will shape my future.

And is there anyone here currently in this JPA programme for Germany? Can you please share your experience and difficulties in mastering the German language in such a short time? And having gone through it, wouuld you recommend this programme to anyone?
