Car Tow truck - Con me ?

guys - accident - driver passed away - Tow Truck guy (i thought not panel/ but could be panel because he says insurance company will pay for towing) got the daughter to sign papers and towed car.

Deceased is my family member. I checked, nobody called for the tow truck, you knowlah they got informer.

The thing is the tow truck guy now asking for payment of 800Rm because he took the car for Kimia/Police procedure. He says that the money is not for towing, that he will claim that from insurance company, but we still need to pay him EXTRA because he took the car for Kimia.

Is this normal ? or just being conned ?

Hi can i ask if anyone here has experience with a good KVM Switch with HDMI incorporated with it ?

I bought one sometime ago about rm80. Failed after few months.

I am looking for a 4x1 KVM with HDMI support.

Maybe i should get separate switches ? Just normal KVM and separate HDMI switch ? Integrated ones dont last long perhaps ? Pls advice.

Hi all sifu here. Unker want to ask if this router is ok ? Been using the stock TP link router, which TIME gave. 7 years down, the router signal s very bad. Plan - 100mbps

So i am thinking if this router can do the job ? If can reach all parts of my house, just one level/story.

Hi guys, unker again with car advice.

From the feedback i received here, i was looking fir nyvi, 12k budget. Saw like 20 cars, mostly lies and not ok. Finally got one and paid deposit, direct owner (allegedly) . Turns out that the person whom i was dealing, was having some issue with his wife the owner, who had no knowledge of the sale. I almost got conned. Deposit rm300 taken back.

I find that myvi being the most widely used, has its cons - anybody and everybody uses it, and if we happen to deal with the shady ppl, then had it !!

Now i jus look for agent lah 😀. Transfer on the spot, depan mata, bayar, transfer, ambil kereta.

Phobia with direct owner 😅.

So, i looking at alternatives for cars in this price range. So any of you guys know is satria neo has issues ir spare part problem ? Its for my college kid, need auto transmission.

Hi guys, if transfer of ownership is done via online and seller does all the thumb print on a weekend, how do we check that it is authentic ? Check in My JPJ ? Will it immediately show up in my JPJ ?

This guy is Perodua agent, thinking of getting a myvi which has been traded in. He says he has temporary ownership of the car, is this legit ? He dis show some doc saved in his phone, but he knows the validity 😅.

Hi can we renew roadtax via the myjpj app or jpj official website ?

I could not do both, just went to jpj, long queue, so the jpj guy said use the app, j showed it to him, he then goes blurr and says oh now cannot.

He then said, can use jpj online website, which checked after coming home, i dnt see option for roadtax, ir maybe i am at the wrong website.

Anyone knows how ? Other then post office and third party agents.

i got conned by a so called gearbox rebuild specialist workshop. i found that the workshop used cheap atf fluid, despite informing that they will be using the genuine recommended fluid. This happened when i asked the worker to show me the empty fluid containers. Further, when i looked at the parts changed, a few important seals were not replaced.

The next working day i went to the workshop again and asked for the old parts - surprisingly, the workshop had cleaned the oil filter and put it on their rack. i realised that the old solenoids were missing, the owner of the shop told that he traded in the old solenoids (as if it was an exchange for the new solenoids).

I know that when the old parts are retuned back to the seller, it is normally for purchase of re-conditioned parts. So the workshop used reconditioned parts and charged me for genuine parts.

As i am officially writing to the shop for an explanation, i now recall that the payment for the rebuild was requested to be done to the personal account of the owner, rather then to the workshop's bank account.

Is it an income tax fraud to ask for payments to be made to personal account when the work was done by a company ? Or is it normal and does not raise any issues ?

This guy is a Korean !
