Hi,

Has anyone ever received a call from some number that claimed to be from alibaba?
Telling you that "you have won a rolex watch but since you never response during the lucky draw live stream, now you are only eligible for 50% value of the product to be transfer to bank"?

The last time I got this call was from 1 year ago with some weird number, I ended up only give them my bank account number (which i already terminated after a few days of not getting the so call prize) and also my full name.

Today I got another number from 0100102 (what kind of number is this) telling me that they are following up with the case*.

Is this a well known scam?

Reason for sale: Didn't like 4K, does not match with my 2nd monitor which is 1080p, like browser needs to be adjusted everytime when browsing from 2 different monitor because on 4K monitor, everything is too small. Bought a 2k 144hz monitor instead.

Wifi worst than Maxis Thomson with the new Asus 1

I just bought this new Asus router last Saturday (30/01/2016) and just as usual, I setup PPPoe and updated the firmware as requested by the Router during setup.

After I update, I went and setup up the Wireless with "Broadcast Name" disable.

And I have my Original Maxis Thomson Router connected to my Asus Router for VoIP and it works.

Then I try connect my Desktop (with Wireless Adapter) to my Asus Router.

At first the connection was ok, but the pings to www.google.com seems to be fluctuating from 8 to 20ms.

After one hour using it, I notice the Router seems to be getting very hot, even hotter than my "Thomson Router even after 24/7 work load".

And the pings starting to get ugly, ranging from 100ms to 1500ms.

I called the Shop who sold me this Router, and they agreed to replace one new one for me.

I just replaced it yesterday (31/01/2016), and re-do all the setups, except this time, I didn't update the firmware.

But the same unstable pings but not as worst and HOT after updating the firmware.

And this is the BEST* I can get from Asus Router without firmware update.

Normally with Maxis Router my ping to the Router is usually* just "= 1ms" or "< 1ms"

And ping to Google is just usually* around "= 8ms" or sometimes but not as frequent "= 50ms"

Sometimes I noticed a "VERY SLOW" web load time when using this Asus Router too...

A bit disappointed by this product, it even has a "Reader's Choice 2015" sticker on the Box.

Is anyone having this kind of problem?
