Comp Sci Elective, which is better?

Hi guys, I have decided to sign up for a full online bachelors in comp sci in INTI.

Looking through the info they gave, there is two electives I am really interested in:

1. Business analytics
2. Software engineering

I always wanted to code my own program so I am keen for 2, however 1 have an extra IBM certification that I would love to have as well.

They also shared some of the languages that would be used in each module:

1 involves more to R programming language which I am using it daily already by myself, so wouldn't be something new to learn. But I do want to get myself certified, currently already working somewhat related to data analytics.

2 is something new to me involving PHP, ASP.NET and C#. But not sure how relevant these languages are in the job market.

Also, cons of doing a CS degree fully online? They said its 80% similar to the standard CS degree they offered but refuse to elaborate on the differences lol. Clearly something was cut out since the classes only goes for like 3 hours per week.

recently had a discussion with my brothers on owning properties vs renting one. my t20 /ktard level brother refuses to purchase his own property but instead opts to rent 8k/mth at his current klcc condo. his reasoning is because buying a new property need to fork out few hundred thousands for dp then another few hundred thousand for renovations, the cash can be used instead for his business to generate higher cash income than property investment i.e., rental or resell

even for non business owner, owning property also not recommended because of the interest, can your property appreciate around 30-40% of the price if factor in interest? better option is to put your money into investments instead of properties these days.

if its for the benefit of his kids, he said there are insurance schemes that u can dump one lump sum then get back 10x after u die, so ur spouse and kid benefit from much more cash than a property

Is CISS printers still popular?

Looking for a new printer, last time university time the CISS mod for Canon printers are popular because the ink are super cheap, these days hardly see one of these anymore. Wanna ask whether they have been superseded by cheaper models? Or original inks are actually decent in price now that no point getting a CISS mod

Does sleep mode harm SSD/HDD?

For the past 3-4 weeks, I have not been shutting down my PC, just letting it run in sleep state.

Then yesterday, rebooting windows 11 suddenly lags the entire computer, basically unable to do anything in windows, typical SSD malfunction symptoms

I never had a SSD fail on me before (touchwood), heck, even my first ever SSD (Plextor sata ssd 128gb) bought in 2012 ish still works fine to this day.

I reinstall my windows on another SSD and it works now, but during the first few boots, there is a message popup in the bios saying bad sectors and fixing, after that no more messages.

The particular SSD in question was reformatted and crystaldiskinfo and windows showed no error. Which comes to my second question, how do I properly check the health of the ssd?

In a televised address Zelenskiy said he was still pursuing diplomatic ways out of the crisis and welcomed Turkey's willingness to participate in multilateral talks, but said Ukraine would not cede any territory to Russia.

Addressing his country after a cross-party meeting in parliament, Zelenskiy announced a programme of "economic patriotism" that included incentivising local production and value added tax cuts on gasoline.

"There is no need for general mobilization today. We need to promptly replenish the Ukrainian army and other military formations," he said.

"As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I issued a decree on the conscription of reservists during a special period," he said.

"We must increase the readiness of the Ukrainian army for all possible changes in the operational situation," he said.

Zelenskiy has publicly criticised foreign embassies and Ukrainian businessmen for leaving Ukraine for security reasons, and renewed his call for companies to stay put.

"All of them must stay in Ukraine. Their enterprises are located on Ukrainian soil, which is protected by our military," he said.

Ukraine and Western countries have long accused Russia of instigating the conflict in eastern Ukraine and sending troops and heavy weapons to prop up the separatists from 2014. Moscow had always denied doing so and demanded Kyiv hold direct talks with separatist leaders whose legitimacy Ukraine does not recognise.

"Yesterday the Russian Federation recognised the independence of quasi-entities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine," Zelenskiy said.
