Finance Management for College Student

How should a college student(myself) manage their money? Would it be too soon to start investing in something or anything at all? It's probably not smart to just keep all money in a savings account, is it?

MacBook Air High Sierra Slow Boot

Hi,

Is anyone familiar with the issue stated in topic? I use a MacBook Air 2017 but since I updated to High Sierra my boot has became slow. I read somewhere that I could disable TRIM but would that void my warranty? Should I still be updating to High Sierra supplemental update? Would it make it even slower?

Thanks in advance.

What degree to choose at university

Hi guys, need some advice. I'm a recent June 17 A-level graduate and got full A*s in the sciences and math. I personally enjoy maths a lot but unfortunately I do not have the means to pursue a maths degree abroad and neither was I accepted into public universities to read math. My options now are only private universities and I hope to do something that has good prospect ( important, but not most important) and something that hopefully allows me to pursue postgrad in math (they generally ask for 3 semesters of calculus).

I've considered a couple options and would like some insight:

1) Engineering - appreciate and adore the math component but indifferent to working as engineer (though I hope this substantial math can get me to postgrad) due to the stigma that engineers "don't work in clean environment" (No offense engineers, please correct me if I'm wrong)
2) Economics- the university I'm eyeing on offers econs that has substantial maths component, but I'm unsure of the career prospect and hope someone can advice. Am I limited to banking only? Need more insights on this.
3) Accounting - this is presumably the course that has the least maths component that would not meet requirement for Masters in Maths but if I were to be realistic it offers great prospect if I'm not fortunate enough to be able to go post-graduate in mathematical field, though I also understand I do not need an accounting degree to be an accountant.

Thank you all for taking your time to read my post and hopefully I can get some advice from you guys. I hope someone can also give me some guidance on how I should choose what to study, as well as shed light on the prospects of economics graduate. Should I pursue option 3, and hence turn maths into my interest/hobby instead?

Best wishes.
