Resign during probation period.

Hi guys, I just started working on 25-5-2015(Monday). Today I decided to quit this job.
I wanna know is it ok that I quit during probation period. The pipu before me is promoted to higher position next week, then I'm took that pipu position. If I resign, then how? Will get boom or not?
Need to write resign letter?

Btw next monday and tuesday is public holiday for me and for those HR managers. How o? I've got no experience in this. Sifu2 pls guide me!

I found this sentence written on my letter of appointment on probation.
'At any time during the probationary period, your employment may be terminated either by the Company or by yourself by the giving of FOURTEEN(14) days notice or FOURTEEN(14) days basic salary in-lieu of notice.'
Means what? After inform HR, then need wait 14 days before quiting? Or need pay 14 days of my basic salary to them before quit?

- when I was studying Form 3
- chit-chating with mah friend about monopoly game
- got 1 pipu (the only son to electronic store tauke) come to us
- that pipu heard our conversation and started to lan C us
- he said : "you guys play those mini and cheap monopoly, fun meh?" " Kesian, I ask my daddy buy the big one for me to play"
- Mah friend replied :" We can ask our parents buy also but there is no such need for the 'big one'.
- that rich kid said this to us : "no money say no money, dont act tough"
Despite of that, I'm still poor, cant lan c back at him.
