Toshiba M550NP or TCL C655 75 inch for home office

Hi guys,

I am helping out a good friend of mine who is just setting up a home office for his hybrid work. He has a budget of about RM
4500.00 and has narrowed his choices down to the 2 models listed above. The TCL C655 is slightly cheaper and is a standard
direct lit LED Google TV with QLED display and is a rather popular choice as a value for money TV. The Toshiba M550NP is the
replacement for the older M550MP from last year but comes with a FALD QLED panel and runs Google TV OS too. I could only
find 1 review of the M550NP so far from Indonesia but a few dealers here in JB already have it in stock.

My friend is leaning towards the Toshiba being a FALD TV but I am just wondering if anyone here has some thoughts? The TV
is basically for some Netflix and Youtube as well as video conferencing (external camera). My friend already has a 86 inch LG
mini-LED in his living space so this is just for secondary TV and work duties. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and
opinions too.

Hi guys,

Just needed some thoughts on this issue I am facing. My sister has just moved to a new place and it's a double storey house as opposed to their previous apartment. They have just installed their Unifi connection and we have found the WiFi coverage on the 1st floor to be quite poor. The 1st floor itself is not completely isolated from the ground floor - there is a large open space between the dining and a balcony on the first floor. I can't find any other data or line port upstairs so we are wondering what is the best way to improve the WiFi coverage on the 1st floor especially since the kids need it for their school work and entertainment.

I did consider installing a wired Access Point but that would mean additional LAN cabling to be done and involve some hacking and such. The TM contractor has suggested using TP Link or D-Link Powerline adapters from the ground floor connecting to an available power point on the 1st floor balcony which is in the middle of the 3 bedrooms. As I have not used any of the Powerline products before, I would appreciate some feedback and alternative suggestion from you guys here. Hoping to get this sorted out over the weekend before the kids head back to school - thanks so much

A customer of mine is planning to equip his engineers with the Spectre x360 late 2017 /early 2018 model for field work and mobility.
Any users here who could share some feedback about the device's overall reliability, user experience and stability? I did suggest the
Elitebook 840 G5 as alternative too but the x360 is more versatile in terms of how it can be used especially on the field and in front
of customers. They typically use HP for IT hardware so he's trying not to deviate from that policy if possible ...
