Mileage reimbursement

Hi working folks,
I have requested the financial controller to revise the mileage reimbursement. Currently, it is RM0.65/km.
But he is asking if I can provide him with the current rate and supportive document.

So if you could share with me how much is your mileage claim rate and also a screenshot of the details, will be very helpful for me to request the increase. If your rate is below 0.65, you can simply ignore it

Can employer force us to work longer?

Hi..

Need some advice regarding employee's rights.

It is about my fiancee. She working in Y company. There was a small change in the organization, new CFO. She reporting to the CFO.

Due to some new system implementation, the CFO requiring my fiancee to work long hours and work during weekends.

My fiancee don't mind work long hours but been busy because of our marriage preparation.

And now, the CFO got angry and complained to HR saying never stay back and discipline problem.

Can she say we can't work long hours? Can she say no when they ask her to work during weekends? What are the potential action can be taken against her?

Change in career path?

Hi all.. I am working as Application and Sales Engineer. I like the application part but not SALES.. Sales not my cup of tea.
Besides that, my superior arggghhh not guiding me well despite knowing I have no knowledge on sales. Always with sarcasm and
threatening will extend my probation period or might even not accept me. Almost everyday have to go through this kind of stress.
Actually i am still under probation, which I have only 1 month left but I am thinking to look for change in career path.
My past experience was QA Engineer for 2yrs n 6mths which also not my interest but I accepted the job due to commitments.

So my questions are:-
1. Should I lower down my expected salary than current salary since I am jumping field?
2. Should I resign before my probation ends?
3. Is anyone of you who reading this, willing to hire me?

How to calculate motor power consumption?

Am needing to calculate kWh per year for my customer on the power consumption for a motor.

Info that I have on the motor:
a) Power = 12.7hp
b) Speed 2920

The factory is working 24hr/day, 6day/week.

Can anyone help me on how to calculate ?
