This morning going out of neighborhood guardhouse accidentally clipped rear right side of Mazda CX5 in front with my almost left frontal upto my left side mirror is turned back. No dents were made, but scratches are fairly obvious. As I don't know exactly what to do, basically he offered me that he'll go workshop do then I'll just pay for it, simple settle outside, what's worrying me is, he said that repaint/rework is upto RM700 when I asked for an estimation. I don't know if I'm getting conned, so can I ask how much is it like maximum for a respray/repaint rear right bumper upto like bottom right corner of rear mirror (mirror wasn't damaged at all), I'm just driving an Axia, so the damage was fairly middle height only... Sorry I'm not particularly good at cars, appreciate any advice... I definitely don't want to be going to the police... because it'll just waste my insurance and a double dip...
